Hamilton Beach 1.5 quart ice cream maker Review

I wanted an ice cream maker for the summer to help cut cost. I ended up buying the Hamilton beach Ice Cream Maker. It comes with a couple of easy recipes, I made the easy vanilla and just added melted chocolate and it came out GREAT! The texture is almost like a frosty, be careful not to add too much vanilla or it will take away from the taste. The Hamilton Beach Ice Cream Maker can also be used for making yogurt, sorbet, and gelato. It is very easy to use and to clean up. It has a pour through lid and it churns the cream by its self.  It has a removable bowl that has to be placed in the freezer for about 24 hours before each use for best results.  For some recipes the freezer bowl can be used after just 8 hours of freezing.  Everything but the base and the motor can be placed in water.  The lid has easy to squeeze tabs that will release the motor.
