Halo Spot's Stew is Great, Wholesome & Natural Too!

Comments about Halo Spot's Stew Wholesome Chicken Recipe Canned Dog Food:

This canned dog food is possibly the best I've evr tried for my furry kids. They adore it. Between the three of them I actually have to supervise feedings so that everybody gets their dinner because they steal from each other! I have never had to do this before. The cans are filled with whole vegetables and chunks of meat, it actually looks a lot like Campbell's Chunky or Progresso Soups for humans! I did a lot of research on the content as well and it passed all of my inspections with flying colors. It not only looks good but actually is good. If I had the time to make my own food I am sure it would be equivalent to this. The only down side I can mention is that this food is rather pricey and rarely goes on sale at my pet stores. When you are feeding 180lbs of dog like I am this can be very expensive. Because of this even though I'd rather not I can only give this food as a special occasion kind of treat. If you can though this is a wonderful nutricious and natural food for your furry kids!

Dog loves this

By

Comments about Halo Spot's Stew Wholesome Chicken Recipe Canned Dog Food:

I've been told that a dry-food diet is best for dogs but I noticed that daily, my pooch required a lot of coaxing to eat his stricktly dry food meals. So, I decided to do some reasearch for a hi-quality wet yet affordable canned dog food to mix with his dry kibble. After checking out a few dog food analyzer sites, I decided to go with the four-star (out of a maximum of five) rated Halo Spot's Stew Wholesome Chicken Recipe. That dinner, I combined a small mix of the Halo Wholesome Chicken wet food with his standard Avoderm chicken kibble and it was a hit. Not only did he pay attention to his food bowl without any help from me, but he finished his entire serving, licking the bowl clean. That was a first! I'm glad that my dog is a fan of this food and I'm impressed with the listing of ingredients on the label as well as with the pieces of real vegetables (peas, carrots, etc.) in the stew. Sure, it's a little messier since he ends up with wet food on his chin but well it's worth the extra cleaning.

Looks just like human food stew but it's expensive

Comments about Halo Spot's Stew Wholesome Chicken Recipe Canned Dog Food:

I was interested in try an all natural dog food for my dog recently so I purchased a few cans of the spot's dog food. I was able to get the chicken and the salmon. The salmon looked so disgusting and my dog would hardly eat it. I felt bag giving it to him. The chicken on the other hand was amazing! I opened the can to find what looked like "human" stew. There were noodles and veggies and it was all mixed in a nice broth kind of thing. My dog scarfed it down immediately! I think it's his favorite food and he literally will lick the plate til it's completely clean. I like the big size of the cans which is perfect for storing extra if you don't use it all at once. I like the can design also. The only thing I don't like is the price, but I guess you really have to pay for more to get more. I would continue to get this product as treats of if I had a coupon but it's way too expensive to get and use on a daily basis for me.
