A Wonderful Dog Food for Puppies

By

from Blackwell, OK

Comments about Halo Spot's Stew Puppy Formula Wholesome Chicken Recipe Dry Dog Food:

This is a really great dog food for puppies. It was one of my dogs favorites when he was a puppy. He loved Halo Spot's Stew Chicken Recipe for puppies. Halo Spot's brand of dog food makes a variety of different formula and flavors, but the chicken recipe was probably his favorite. It's made with good ingredients, which is perfect for growing puppies who need extra vitamins and specially made kibble that fit their small teeth. I highly recommend this food if you're looking for a good brand of dog food for your growing pup. You can look up Halo Spot's puppy or dog food and purchase it directly from their site, which is the only way I ever bought it.

Quality of Ingredients
The first ingredient in this puppy food is chicken. It also has eggs, pea protein, barley and oats, chicken liver and even vegetable Broth. It's full of vegetables like sweet potatoes, peas and fruits like apples. This is definitely worth trying out on your puppy, as the ingredients in here are really high quality. There are many ingredients on the ingredient list for this dog food, but all are them are more natural ingredients than other dog food brands.

Flavor Selection
My dog loved the taste of this dog food and it was one of his favorites when he was a puppy.

Love this Halo Spot's Stew and so does my dog

Comments about Halo Spot's Stew Puppy Formula Wholesome Chicken Recipe Dry Dog Food:

My Boston Terrier has been fed Halo Spot's Stew dry food since day one. I'm impressed with the ingredients - wheat free and no meat meals or rendered meats. The results speak for themselves - he's healthy, strong and frisky and has had no health problems at all. I was concerned, after reading about the wheat allergies many Bostons suffer, to make sure to start him off on the right paw from the beginning.

For a smaller dog, the tiny size of the kibbles is terrific. Since he also loves getting his food in a toy that requires he works for it (if I put it in his bowl, he ignores the food and drops his food toy in my lap) the small kibbles fit into any size food toy.

And the flavor must be dog friendly. Unlike some other premium, wheat free dog foods I've tried, he gobbles it down.

I only give it a four star instead of a five because in my area, it's very difficult to find and I don't care to mail order dog food. It's a bit pricey but monthly coupons are available from the Halo website.

The Best.

Comments about Halo Spot's Stew Puppy Formula Wholesome Chicken Recipe Dry Dog Food:

Halo Purely For Pets Halo Spots Stew Dry Puppy Food (chicken flavor) is amazing stuff! I adopted a baby Yorkshire Terrier and it was going to be about 6-7 pounds fully grown (so he wasn't what breeders would consider a teacup but a HEALTHY size). When I adopted our little guy the place where we got him from were feeding him puppy chow. He was getting sick all the time (which is why the owner got rid of him to begin with). I got our little guy home and switched his food immeadiately to Halo Spots Stew dry puppy food (chicken flavor) and I noticed a HUGE difference in him over night. He stopped scratching himself constantly within 48 hours. He was a happy little puppy ever since! No more problems what so ever. I have had other dogs in my lifetime that I fostered that ate other brands of food such as Beneful and that was what their bodies were used to and they weren't having any problems at all with those foods. BUT if you have a pet with unexplained issues after you have taken it to the vet then try this food. The ingredients are good... it says right on the bag the first ingredient is chicken. It may seem a little more expensive to begin with, but it is a food that your puppy can digest easier. At least that was the case with us. Love this stuff!
