Safe way to keep baby warm

The Halo Sleepsacks are a great way to keep baby warm at night without using potentially dangerous blankets! The zipper zips from top to bottom, so you don't have to completely unzip it to change a diaper - a very good thing if your baby is still asleep and you don't want to wake them. I've seen them in two weights - a cozy fleece for the winter and a lighter cotton for warmer months. There's even a toddler version that has holes for their feet so they can walk without tripping! We just had our third child 3 weeks ago. Our previous children are now 6 and 3. Boy, were we missing out without the Halo Sleep Sack. — — We discovered it when the hospital dressed our newborn in it. The picture on this site doesn't show it, but the most amazing thing is the velcro "wings" that swaddle your baby. With our two previous kids, we had to wrap them in blankets. I was not nearly as good at that as my wife, but even when she did the swaddling, any movement by the child would cause them to come unwrapped. Definitely recommend to all parents. I never wanted to put a blanket in w/ my daughter while she was sleeping. This kept her warm and she sucks on it sometimes like a blanket. Had to turn it inside out now that she figured out how to unzip it. But still love it. She loves it… read full review »
