Halo 2-in-1 Microfleece SleepSack Swaddle —

(Mom of a gorgeous boy cracked me up as a tag choice, so I had to use it.)

I recieved a Halo Sleepsack in my hospital swag at Overlake Medical Center and what a gift it turned out to be!  Hospitals support this product because it keeps dangerous loose blankets out of newborns beds, while also being super easy to use.  (Have you ever tried to swaddle a wiggly baby, especially one who was NINE pounds at birth, with one of those tiny sheets of flannel they call a receiving "blanket?"  Uh, yeah.)

My son loved being wrapped up tight for the first couple months of his life, and this made that quick and easy to do.  I also found the product fairly durable and easy to machine wash.

Being that I received this as a gift, I'm not entirely sure how much they retail for, but if it was between $20 and $30, I would definitely think it was worth it.  Safety, durability, comfort, and cuddliness - all great.

Also - it makes nursing a baby easy because they can't wiggle!  Just watch out if you have a sleepy baby like I did, it can make him or her too drowsy to eat because they're just so comfy!

It also lead to some great nicknames, some that aren't appropriate, but one cute one: "BABY BURRITO."

They do actually make two different versions, although the swaddle is just a modified version. It's fairly new cause I don't think they had these 3 years ago with my first. I'll send a note to the ladies and have them create a new listing for you.

I really loved these when the children were little and used it for both - they were back to back so got my money's worth.

I believe I originated that Tag :)

Did you get the one that comes with the Swaddle feature? That's the one we received as well. We might want to put this in a separate listing to reflect the different type if that's the case.
