I've used Hall's throat and cough drops in one form or another since I was a kid. My grandfather used to keep a roll of the basic, menthol ones in his pocket and would hand them out to all of his grandchildren. As an adult, I suffer from frequent dry throat due to allergies. As a vocalist, it's important to keep my throat moist and functional, but I also don't want to blow away the people I'm singing with with a great gust of menthol breath. I bought these thinking they were a great addition to the Halls cough drop line but was not impressed.  They didn't seem to me to be more then a piece of hard candy with a strange after taste.  I'm not sure what they are supposed to accomplish but they did not make my throat feel any better then per say a butterscotch candy would have.  I would not buy these… read full review »
