The Halex Dart Board was a very good find for us as we found it at a yard sale for only ten dollars when it normally retails for around fifty.

Originally we were sad to find out that both the original plastic tips and the small pieces of plastic that hold the wings onto the darts broke but there was an easy solution. We found copper darts, which although were a little heavier and took time to get our aim back, did not break no matter how hard we threw the darts. We found them at Walmart for around ten dollars.

It's been great fun for the whole family as we spend long nights and even invite the nieghbor over for a game or two.

And yes, if you get hit with darts, even those with plastic tips, they do hurt. They can also stick into a solid pine board with a good enough throw.
