Hairspray —
NIkki Blonsky was an unknown who had to fill iin some heavyshoes. Loosely based on the John Waters movie you did not have to see the original to keep up, but i would encourage it. For the younger generation who loves high school musical you have Zac Effron actually singing and for the rest we get to see Travolta wear a dress and sing and dance his heart out. As long as you are a fan of musical this one is for you. If not still give it a try if after the first 20 minutes the songs aren't in your head the the wonderful dancing acting and segegration issues are enough to keep you entertained. At just under 2 hours the movie fly by as if it we only 30 minutes. Hope you enjoy it.
