This is a terrific appliance for people who live in a small place. My husband and I live in a 620 square foot cottage and this washer is so great for a small area. It is square, so will fit in a 17 inch by 17 inch space. I placed it at the end of my kitchen counter, so it looks like part of the kitchen. Good looking, easy to use. Holds from 5-7 items. Less jeans, more t-shirts). Great for one or two people. Has a fast cycle, which saves time and water, but washes clothing clean. I have owned this washer for about 2 months and love it. (Sure beats that run to the laundry mat!!) The only bad part I found is that it doesn't come with wheels. I ordered it from Walmart.com and I couldn't find the wheel kit on the site to order it separately either. The other thing th\at is negative is that when I was jeans, the basket is never level when it spins out. I have to readjust the clothing inside and try spinning again. Not a big deal, just a little inconvenient. It was double boxed for delivery, which was great. Came undented and undamaged. Had it delivered to my local walmart for free shipping.
