This window unit has made such a difference in my bedroom. It cools the room quickly despite high temperatures outside. It is great for cooling small rooms but doesn't work in large areas. My biggest complaint would have to be how difficult it is to set a temperature because the controls are very touchy.

I like this Haier Thru Wall-Window Air Conditioner. I have a small downstains and this cools off the whole place. It was easy for me to install and keeps the room super cool. I have not had any problems with it and have had it about one year. During the summer it stays on day and night and does a great job. It also has a dehumidifier and a fan as extra features. Both work well. I like the fact that is has a remote. Although it is not the best air conditioner I have ever had , it is a good value for the money. They are not expensive and are budget friendly. I think it is a good air icondiitoner for the money. I hope that it lasts a few more summers but so far so good. I would rate it about a 4. I would recommend it for smaller rooms and not large ones. It works well in my living room without any problems. If you lose the remote it does operate manually. It could be a little quieter as it is a little bit loud.

Its a pretty nice conditioner, its kind of like an extra, conditioner. We have 2 conditioners including this one, we got this extra one because we heard it works really great when you have two of them running at the same time, and it does. It effeciently cools the mouse. I bought this appliance from sears a year ago and im content with this purchase, but it could be better. I love the fact that you can control it with a battery powered remote, so when your watching tv, you can cool down your house with a flick of a switch! It also was a free installation and has features like a humdifier, and that too works well. I like it overall, but one problem i have with it, its just a little loud sometimes, but i can live with it!

I bought this air conditioner just in time and it really does cool off a medium sized room. I have not experienced any problems with this unit since installing it. I also like the remote control that came with it and the air flows freely and it is simple to put in. I have to admit for the price it is a good buy and is considering on purchasing another one for my spare room that is smaller in space. These come in handy on a hot summer day or whenever one wants to be cool throughout the day without the high cost of energy trying to run it. I have also recommend this unit to family and friends and they are looking into getting them one as we speak to keep their homes cool for the hot summer days that are coming. It is amazing to find a product that one likes without all of the trouble and hassle. I certainly hope that this air conditioner will continue to keep me and my family cool this summer.

I bought one of these to put in my room because I live with my grandmother who always swears she is freezing to death and likes to turn the heat on even int he middle of the summer when it is 100 degrees outside. I needed something to keep me from getting a heat stroke so I got this because it was pretty cheap and I have heard good things about these air conditioners. This air conditioner does a decent job at keeping it cool. It isn't the best air conditioner you could ever get, but it does work. It doesn't get it quite as cold as I would like it, but it definitely blows out cold air. For the price I paid though I would say it does a really good job, but there are probably better ones out there for aroudn the same price if you look hard enough. Works well, but not the top of the line.

I have 2 of these little window air conditioners in my apartment. They are a great product for the money.  For a  small 1-bedroom apartment- 2 units are perfect and the remote control is a plus.  the onlything - you cannot operate the the level controls with the remote, you can only turn the unit on or off manually.  so DONT lose the remote!.

My centrally air conditoned home does not produce economically enough power to cool my upstairs bedroom.  WE have had several window units in the past and found them loud and very unefficient as well as poorly made.  Most did not last more than 2 summers!   We bought the first Haier window unit air conditioner  and found it belssedly quiet!  That was so imprtant as my side of the bed in next to the window!  I can actually carry on a conversation and hear the televison without blasting either the televison nor yelling!  The unit produces more than enough power for my large bedroom and the remote makes it much nicer since no one has to get up at night to adjust the temperature. SInce the first unnit, we bought one for my son's aparment and one for my sewing studio.  My studio is a separate building at the back of our yard and is large with high ceilings.  This unit is built into the wall and provides quick cooling and the remote makes it easy for me to turn it on and off as the unit is on the upper wall.

I love the fact that this product comes with a remote. It has easy to push buttons. You just have to make sure your kids do not push the buttons and mess up any settings you have. It cools off the house very quickly. I love having the dehumidifier in it. It is like an added bonus. It saves you from having to buy a dehumidifier separately. Within minutes of turning the unit on you can feel a difference. A lot of times I just use the dehumidifier setting to take the humidity out which in turn cools off our house. I love this product because it is easy and convenient to use. It has quite a few settings for a variety of different houses. Just make sure you check the setting each time you turn the unit on to make sure buttons were not bumped for any reason otherwise it will not be as effective at the time you need it to cool off your house. It is easy to put in any standard size window. I advise you to have someone help put it in for safety.

I have the Haier air conditioner in my bedroom and I love it!  Its so convenient to lay in your bed and be able to control the settings and temperature without moving hardly a muscle.  It cools great and I love the energy saver function on it.  I would highly recommend this product to everyone.

I bought the Haier a/c for the hot Texas summer, you know 107 and heat index way higher! I have central heat and air but it's an older unit and wasnt getting the job done so we had to add an additional a/c in the familyroom/dining room/kitchen, it's one large area and I loved it!! I did not get freezing cold because of the large space but definately helped keep us cool esp at night when we were having such a hard time keep cool to relax. Great price would recommend to anyone. Very easy to install!
