I used this refrigerator in college. It worked well for the first year - kept things cold in my dorm room. The freezer would build up ice and would need to be defrosted once in a while, but that is expected in all minifridges I think. Anyways, after my first year, in my second year, I started having problems. The little door for the freezer broke, probably because the ice started building up causing it to not close evenly. Well, I still used it and covered the freezer as best as I could. But maybe because the door was sticking out, it caused the fridge door to not close tightly. Sometimes when I closed it, it would bounce back. Well the freezer melted and leaked all over the hardwood floor causing water damage. After that I took the freezer out and never used it again. I left it outside and the plastic little door for the freezer warped in the sun. Now, it fits even more poorly. Not sure if it is worth using again, or just buying a new fridge. I would not recommend this model. I would get one with a sturdier freezer door.

I have this refrigerator in my upstairs room, and I find it to be perfect for small things like ice cream, soda, juice, and other food. There is a little freezer that freezes pretty well. The temperature control is also very decent, and controls temperature. I do not have any huge problems with this refrigerator. It is true indeed that it sometimes gets a bit loud, but then all refrigerators do that so it is not such a big deal I think. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a small refrigerator outside of their kitchen. These refrigerators would also work perfectly for dorm use. So, i would also recommend it to college students.

I have this fridge in my dorm room, and it's perfect for my needs. The little freezer works very well. I put LOTS of food in the freezer and it freezes well! I would expect the freezer to break because of the weight of my food, but it's pretty sturdy. As for the fridge, it works pretty well. I don't store a lot of food at one time (except for in the freezer), but I don't think that really matters? I'm pretty sure it would still work pretty well. Also one (or maybe both) of the trays are "detachable," so I took out the bottom one in order to fit my water filter jug in the refrigerator. Noise Level It's scary sometimes when it suddenly makes noise, esp. in an empty dorm room, but it reminds me of home, so I don't mind it.

We purchased this fridge to keep in our mudroom for soda and water and love it. The price was very reasonable. It holds a good amount of beverages and is big enough to hold party leftovers when your big fridge is full. It's the perfect size and can fit under a counter, which we hope to add eventually. It would be a great size for a small office or dorm room as well. The quality of this appliance is stout. It was purchased many years ago and is still in service. It has provided a steady quality refrigeration for the 6 or so years it has been in use. It is easy to clean and durable and sits on a wooden table. It has not harmed the table, which means that it was built smart and for safety.  A basic white design was purchased and decorated for the band. The band put decals on it and claimed it as their own. When brainstorming on a new cd or song. They simple stock up and then enjoy a cold one after working on their music.  It is the right size to allow the band enough cold ones for Miller Time after practice or even if a few fans stop over.  The Brews are always cold. A tribute the manufacturer.  There have been as many as 15 or 20 fans over to preview a new song and always enough cold ones to accommodate them.  They have devised a system as to how to put the beers in the frig to get the maximum amount of brewski's in at one sitting.  Even full to the rim the Haier performs admirably!!!
