Pros

saves space, more convenient than handwashing

Cons

doesn't always rinse clean, Not a very heavy duty cleaner, No way to add rinse agent, Takes up counter space, Can be too high on tall counters

I got this dishwasher for Christmas from my parents. It was nice because in an apartment I couldn't exactly have a regular dishwasher installed. I was getting so burned out on handwashing dishes (especially bottles and nipples and lids... oh my). I have to pre wash some of the dishes... just a quick rub to get stuck-on food off... but at least I don't have to hand wash them all to the point of sanitized... I can let the dishwasher do that.

Pros

Takes up less space than a conventional dishwasher
Don't have to stand over a sink for hours

Cons

Some loads have to be washed twice because of loose food that didn't rise away
Some loads have to run a 2nd time with no soap because of a foam at the bottom
Crusted on food, or milk stains in bottles have to be preswiped

For now I will say that I recommend this product... but that is because I have not tried a similar product. I am recommending it in assumption that all countertop dishwashers have the same faults. If not, I would recommend trying another brand to compare. It suits me fine though.
