This is a great phone for a reasonable price.

After my last flip phone, I moved into the world of smartphones very dreadfully. I had played with them before and they just completely blew my mind! This was my first run in the smartphone world and so far in the year that I've had it, it's turned out to be a pretty great phone. As soon as I powered on for the first time, it took me through a tutorial to show me exactly where everything was and how it's worked. Normally, that's something you have to spend a long time reading in the phone manual. This made me feel much more comfortable with my new smartphone. I also love the fact that the phone comes with beats audio. The sound quality of music and videos is absolutely wonderful. The screen is also very large so you can see really anything. This would be a very great feature for someone with poor eyesight. The only issue ive had with this phone, was the easily broken screen. I dropped it once before I had a case and the screen busted. Since I have had a case though I've had no problems. The battery life is also pretty great. I charge it at night and play on it constantly throughtout the day and it stays charger until night time. I think this is an overall wonderful phone and I would recommend it to anyone!

Best Smart Phone I Owned

5

I went from an iPhone 4 to this phone and was so happy that I did. This was the best phone I have ever owned and far superior to the iPhone. I had both a white and black version of this phone. The camera was amazing and took such great quality photos. The phone ran pretty smoothly and all the aops opened pretty fast. The screen was clear and very durable. Both of my phones had been dropped amd thrown by my two year old and never had an issue. This phone is pretty durable anf I am actually looking to get anothet one to replace the phone I have now that I hate. Battery Life Could be better but it's exactly what I expect from a smart phone. Display/Screen Quality Very clear and bright. Call Quality Speakers were never fuzzy and never had any issues with that. Ease of Use Pretty simple to figure out how to use it. Durability My phone was tossed around numerous times and it always worked juat as great and never had any issues. Design Not a terrible looking phone

HTC Vivid Smartphone is not so smart

3

This particular phone has turned out to be a fairly major dissappointment. It seems to have a mind of it's own. It will randomly jump into an app without being directed. I often lose calls even after I have answered fairly quickly. Most of all, I have not been able to find a safety cradle for it anywhere. The AT&T store sent them all back only a couple of months after they came out on the market. When we first got the phones the dradles had not come out yet. I think we are done with androids. Next time it's an Iphone for me. Battery Life If you want to use your phone with the latest apps it takes a lot of juice for instance, when I travel several hours on a trip and use the GPS, I need to plug the phone into my charger to make sure it gets me where I need to go. Display/Screen Quality The screen quality is good, always room to improve. Call Quality Depending on the origin of where the call is going or coming from will determine how clear it is. Most of the time it is fine.

HTC Vivid is a SMART phone

5

I love this phone. It made me a believer that a phone could be called "smart". It's hardware is durable. With the apps almost anything can be accomplished. I work in the field and this cell has been a lifesaver on many levels. This is not my first so-called smartphone. It is my first truly smart phone. Battery Life The only reason my battery life is not optimal is because I use an animated weather screensaver. I have to know the weather almost hourly so that won't be changing. I am satisfied with the life of the battery in spite of that. Display/Screen Quality screen display is large and clear. Call Quality voice clarity is perfect. Ease of Use once familiar, it is very easy to maneuver. Durability I do have a cover on the instrument but I have dropped it twice with no appearent damage. Design It's a handful and a little heavy, but most smartphones are.

Ok if you don't mind regular repairs

3

My sons chose this phone for our family plan. We got three, one for each of them and one for me, but I am so glad I bought the repair insurance plan. It has definitely paid for itself as often as we've had these phones in for repair. The back comes off quite easily. That problem is easily cared for by keeping the phone in a case. Battery Life The battery keeps an average charge. Unfortunately, the charging cord does not always connect completely so you might wake in the morning to discover the phone hasn't charged at all overnight. Display/Screen Quality Nice large screen. Quality picture. Very useful. Call Quality Have never had a dropped call that I can remember. Am usually able to hear the caller quite well. Ease of Use Sensitive screen. Easy to use. Durability We've had these phones in for repair so often the techs recognize us and call us by name. Design The only concern is how heavy the phone is.

HTC Vivid One Smart Phone for the Advanced or Beginner User.

5

This phone is everything and more when it comes to a Droid phone. I find it easy to learn how to use and navigate. From screen to screen, then to finding apps and adding them to the phone. Battery Life As long as you let the battery drain out all the way, then recharge it. Then repeat that 2 more times, that will make your battery last longer. Display/Screen Quality With a very nice sized screen, your able to see the graphics and pictures on your HTC Vivid. Call Quality Very good quality made phone. Since I dropped it the first week I had it on cement. No damage to the body or screen. This was before I put a protective case on it. Ease of Use So easy to use. Very easy to see the buttons to navigate around so you know where your at. Also the FAQS answer almost any question that would come to mind. Durability It's a pretty tough phone. But of course, with any smart phone you would want to put a protective case over it. Just to give it more durability. Design Perfectly designed for the advanced phone user or the newbie to a smart phone. Everything is pretty self explanatory. If not, check out your user guide.

User friendly phone with an awesome camera

5

This is an awesome phone. Great touch screen response, the camera opens fast, and the screen is huge. Also, the 8 mp camera is great for taking pictures anywhere and also the editing options are better than what I have on my computer. I am still getting used to this phone and find that if I don't click back to my home screen from my call log screen, I will accidently dial people on my list. I like that I can oraganize my favorite apps on screen so they are one touch away. I wsh that it had a share to facebook option right on the photo screen after taking a picture instead of having to go into the share screen and choose that option. Battery Life Obviously with a smartphone, the battery is used more as it syncs with online apps. The more you sync, the more battery power you use. I use my phone a lot so I try to keep a charger handy. I have not had the battery run down completely and I like that it alerts you when your battery is low. Display/Screen Quality The screen is huge and very clear. I could definitely pass time while watching a movie, tv show, or music video with this camera. I also have a screen protector which does not inhibit the screen quality at all. Call Quality My calls are clear and I can hear the other person. I do wish I could turn up the volume a little more though because sometimes people speak low or have an accent and it is harder to understand. Maybe even an external noise reduction feature would be nice. Ease of Use Very easy to use though I previously had a windows phone so the android operating system took a little getting used to. I am still working with it but have had no problems finding apps, setting up e-mail, amking call, taking pictures/video, and using the text messaging. Durability I need a case. This phone has been dropped a couple of times but I have not had any screen cracks or damage. Design This phone is light weight.

The HTC Vivid is great for anyone looking for a smartphone!

I recently switched my wireless plan from Verizon to At&t and I must say that I am very pleased with the phone I chose. The HTC Vivid is an amazing piece of technology and has become a huge part of my daily life!!! This is my first time owning a smartphone and I love it! This particular phone has a large display and lots of memory. Plus it's run on an Android system! I never wanted an Iphone.... Battery Life The battery is good for as much as I use it. My husband has taught me that batteries have a memory and if you allow the battery to completely drain before recharging... it makes the charge last a LOT longer!!! I do use the phone a lot and have to charge daily since I seem to drain the battery rather quickly. If I wasn't using apps or surfing the web all day I'm sure the battery would last much longer! Display/Screen Quality The large screen on this phone is great. Going from the LG EnV2 I don't even think it's comparable.... I am still getting used to the touchscreen and I would love if I didn't have to wipe the screen off constantly due to fingerprints and dust Call Quality I have had no issues with call quality. Ease of Use This phone is very user friendly. There are TONS of menus and information stored on the phone. Once you start using the phone and playing with it... you learn quickly how it works. If not... there are even owners manuals you can download right to the phone and read!!! Durability As far as I know this thing is pretty sturdy. I have dropped it several times in the short amout of time I've had this thing and it still works! I even dropped it in the oven last night... (oops)... not even a scratch! (I know I'm super lucky and will be buying a case VERY soon) Design I think the design is ok. I love the color (I got the white one) but the location of the volume button and power button seem to be awkward. I'm always accidentally hitting those buttons and either turning the phone off/putting it in sleep mode or turning the volume up/down.

Worst phone ever!!!

2

This is by far the worst cell phone I have had. I picked this phone for an upgrade after having the htc inspire (which I loved). This phone is so unreliable, it shuts off randomly so when you go to use it you realize its been off for who knows how long. At that point when you reboot the phone it asks if you want to send an error report to HTC which I do every time. There are have been days where I have to send 4 or 5 error messages a day but I have to send at least once a day. To top it off, they had an update for the phone which crashed mine and I had to go out and buy a go phone until they could get me a replacement vivid phone. I even contacted HTC directly and told them of the issue I was having and they told me to do a system restore, which didnt help with the first or second phone. All I can say is, DO NOT GET THIS PHONE, not even if its free Battery Life Only good thing about this phone, but the battery probably seems to last longer because the phone shuts off all the time. Design If you dont have a case for this phone, the back will fall off constantly. It is very easy to remove and the only thing that keeps my back on is the case...
