This phone is, overall, pretty good. It has a decent amount of memory, and is reasonably fast. I like the WiFi capability, and the Visual Voicemail is a nice feature as well. I notice that if I don't reboot about 4 times a week things lock up and I can't do anything without a hard reboot. The camera is okay, not great, and does not have a flash as some other smartphones do. There's a weird delay when I answer the phone if I have to unlock it to answer, where I might pause for a few seconds before saying hello, and still have to say hello two or three times before the person on the other end hears me. My biggest complaint is that sometimes, completely randomly, I will not get text messages (or even voicemails) for several days from anyone. If I restart my phone I will get bombarded with all these missed messages. The phone otherwise works quite well.

I received this phone as a gift from a friend of mine and I must say it's a great phone for the price. It has more than enough processing power for my needs and it is very capable for all tasks I throw at it. Internet browsing is a breeze and is a greatexperience.. after you upgrade from the default internet browser. The default internet browser is buggy, uses up a lot of resources, and is sometimes unresponsive as well. Unfortunately I have yet to find both a very stable and fast internet browser but any browser from the app store is a definite upgrade from the default one. The media player functions for this phone is very nice. The user interface for media player does compare favorably even against my standalone MP3 player. The camera is great as well. Overall, this is a great phone one would definitely enjoy. Battery Life The phone's battery does charge from <20% to 70%+ fairly quick. However, charging from 80% to full capacity does take a lot longer. The battery life for this phone is decent. On a full charge, the battery does last on average about 2 days. Display/Screen Quality The display is very clear with any task I do. Call Quality It honestly does not get much better than this. Ease of Use Anyone familiar with using android phones would have no issues whatsoever. Durability The materials used on this phone, excluding the screen, are prone to dents and scratches, especially the metal finish on the front of the phone. The screen is durable based from what I've seen from the multiple months of abuse I brought to my phone. Design The design is sleek but I would preferred if they used more durable and more scratch-resistant materials.

I have had my phone for a year and a half, and it has been awesome! I previously had an iPhone and would say that despite having fewer apps and free games available on the google and android network, I love this phone! I find it sleek and the colors are amazing! I also love that te menu apps are easy to find, and adding and deleting apps and icons from the home screen is a breeze! Words with Friends is a fun app, and I reccomend it! The screen is bright and the sounds are clear. The phone also allows me to download the Mr. Number app whichblocks all unwanted calls in a snap! I work from home, craft, take care of an elderly-live-in mother, am a fur-baby parent, and a wife... this phone lets me do everything I need to do and more. I love this phone! Battery Life Three days at a time with use of pandora, microsoft office, and apps going all of the time! Display/Screen Quality Crisp! Call Quality I have never had a dropped call! Ease of Use Awesome! Durability Going strong! Design Sleek, and comes with a great case, adapter, usb cord, and ear buds.

I have the 4G Slide version with a physical keyboard. Overall it is lightning fast with infrequent slowdowns, easy to use and navigate, and feels solid in your hand. The camera takes good quality pictures, but there is about a .1-.5 second shutter lag, which makes action shots difficult. Battery Life Lasts about 10 hours with moderate use. Display/Screen Quality Very clear and bright with good contrast. Call Quality Sometimes difficult to hear and be heard. Ease of Use UI is intuitive and easy to navigate. Dedicated camera button makes taking photos a breeze. Keyboard has only 4 lines, which means you will have to use the alt-lock button to type a phone number, which can be a pain.

Display/Screen Quality It is good, I don't have to strain my eyes to see anything on the screen. I purchased this phone last year in December and was a bit doubtful of it, but I have changed my view on it since I have been using it. It has a cool 3.8" display that looks great. Not one of the biggest offerings available, but it has a high resolution image. It is 4G capable obviously and includes a front and rear facing cameras. This phone is the best if you want it for video chatting. I use the video chat all the time I call my family and friends. Works great and responds quickly. It give a lot of options to mess around with and looks great. The design is solid, except for the buttons in the front. They feel a little cheap, but overall the phone is great. Reception quality is solid and takes very good videos and pictures. So far nothing has gone wrong with it, but the battery life is not great if you video chat a lot. It lasts about a day and that's it. You need to charge this thing up every night.

To begin with the my touch 4G is just the start for t-mobile on its new LTE 4G network. And this phone is something to really compete with the iphone 4 why? Because this thing is amazingly fast with multitasking. And to make it even better it's operating system is running on google's very popular android system. Which is great because android is fully customizable, with hundreds of applications and stuff to put on it. And not to mention it's beautiful display thats on it, and it has a front facing camera for video chatting with others and you could do it on its network not just on a wifi connection. Also it features a stunning camera that take pretty amazing pictures with a five megapixel.And lets not forget the main reason why you bought this, to talk on it, because it allows you to talk up to six hours. And this ends my review for the my touch 4G. And yes i would recommend this phone to anyone who is looking to switch to t-mobile, and thank you for reading my review. Wow, super impressed with this phone and tmobile service. I live in a rural area, where i can not get 4g service from sprint or verizon, but with this phone I have 4g speeds that are faster than my home dsl. infact i use the wifi hotspot in the phone when at home. I also love the large bright screen, the genious button. If you are not familiar with the genious button this single button can control everything. you press the button, and you speak into the phone. for example. if i say, "Send Text, John, I Love You." it will send a text message to my contact for john that states, "I love you. One other great feature on this phone is the swype to type keyboard. I have fat fingers and this allows me to just slide my thick digits across the screen and it automaticly types the words that i am trying to type. only thing i was disapointed about on my phone is there is not a lot of internal memory. sure it came with an 8 gig sd card but it still could have used more internal memory.

I've always had flip cell phones until I got the HTC MyTouch 4G for Christmas. Great signals in and around just about everywhere. I like the ease of the home screen scrolling, so there's so many opportunities to put widgets, shortcuts, and other items right there in front of you. The battery life just depends on how much data is used throughout the time - having the "Location" GPS eats up a lot of it, so I use it wisely as I can, then disable it. With small kids and toddlers, I love the Airplane mode/lock. The unique thing about the input is the "Swype Key", where you can just glide your finger from one letter to the next to create a word. It helps a lot because there's no attached keyboard like other smartphones. The "Call" feature is great because it lists the last placed call or the last caller on top of the numerical pad, just in case if you forget and it has a feature to save it in your contact list. I would highly suggest this to anyone whom wants a simple, yet, multi-task feature smartphone. Battery Life You'll need to watch how much data is transmitting.

I was with a company, no names mentioned for 10 years and finally got tired of the nickle and diming just because they had the "best network" and thought they could. So I went with a new company and got new phones, the HTC MyTouch 4G. I love my phone! I've never had a smart phone before and now I'm hooked!! I can do any and everything from it!! It even has a Toddler Lock so when my 2 year old gets antsy somewhere, I put it on, he goes to town drawing or learning and he can't get into something he shouldn't (AND it's FREE!!!) I can even play a game like Scrabble with my brother and sister-in-law who are 3 hours away from me (Again, FOR FREE!!) Only issue I have with the phone is it does have a low battery life, but I stay on the phone alot, so I can expect that. And there are times when it runs slow. But with so many apps running, that is also expected. I can handle those quirks for all the positives I get!!
