One Purchase I Do Not Regret

5

With technology the way it is and obsolescence being a fact of life, this phone has yet to let me down and is still the envy of my friends who keep spending increasingly large sums of money upgrading phones that never seem to outpace what this phone can do. A great purchase for anyone interested in holding onto a phone for more than six months. Battery Life The battery life is good, for the amount of use the phone gets. Display/Screen Quality The screen is gorgeous and leaves my laptop looking a bit clunky in comparison Call Quality Calls are crisp and clear with consistent volume. Ease of Use This phone has a very intuitive interface for anyone familiar with computers.

Good phone for a year

3

Good phone, but it completely locked up after only a year of regular use. Replacement phones have done the same for me. Htc did not do their best with this one, would not recommend this phone, go with a different one. Battery Life Battery drains very quickly, even with no programs running. At first it worked great, but after 3 months it started to drain more and more quickly. Now barely stays charged for 10 hours with no programs running. Needs better battery management. Display/Screen Quality The screen is a good size for the year it came out. Not too massive, but not tiny. Good quality graphics also, and the touch screen works like it is supposed to. Call Quality Lots of dropped calls and bad signals during calls. And all this while in a large metro area. Do not think its the carrier, because my fiancé can make perfect calls with no problems sitting right next to me. Ease of Use Easy to use, until it locks up. Had my phone for just over a year, before the menu buttons on the bottom of the touch screen locked up, not allowing me to do anything.

Great Phone

This phone is great. It is easy to use, has plenty of storage, and has very nice, sharp visual and sound quality. The only problem with the amount of storage on the phone is the fact that you won't bother deleting old apps that you have no use for anymore, because they never get in the way of adding new ones. This isn't a real problem, but it can be annoying when scrolling through long pages of apps. Overall, I love this phone. Battery Life Not really sure why the battery seems to die quickly some days but last a long time on others (without changing use habits). Display/Screen Quality Love it - size and quality. Ease of Use Not sure it can get any simpler. Durability I've had this phone for one year, and over the course of that year I have dropped it more times than I can remember....without having it in a case. It got banged up for sure, but never broke or exhibited any negative effects from the falls. My paranoia finally purchased a case, however. The phone is TOUGH, but I'd rather not take any risks. Design Top notch job, HTC. My only complaint would be that you cannot customize notification sounds (text ringtones vs. email notifications, for example). It's annoying to pick up the phone to respond to a text message only to see that it was actually a spam email.

Worst smartphone I ever purchased.

I purchased this phone in September of 2012. I bought it with a contract from Verizon Wireless. This phone gave me problems right from the beginning. The sound sucked on incoming calls. The speakerphone was the worst i have ever heard. The volume was to low and speaker was not very clear. Callers often sounded muffled or far away. I experienced lots of dropped calls. My screen would freeze quite often causing me to not be able to answer calls or make them. I would have to take the battery out to reset it because when the screen is frozen you can get the option to appear on the screen to restart or turn phone off by pressing the power button. However, with the screen not recognizing that It was being touched you could not select an option. Forcing you to take the phone apart just to restart it. Verizon Wireless replaced this phone for me Nine times before replacing it all together with the HTC Droid DNA.

Not a big fan it is nothing fancy

I have had quite a few issues with this phone. Glitches, sound cutting in an out, photos turned blue??? I have no idea what causes that, I have never done any damage to it, it has been doing it since I purchased it. So I defiantly would not recommend it for someone who loves taking photos. Thus far, I am not a big fan. I should have taken it back when I had the chance. Battery Life Blah, what can I say, if you play Apps or watch movies, listen to music it is not going to have a long battery life. I had to turn the brightness of the screen way low and turn off functions such as vibrate. I find it gets pretty hot to the point where I have to put it down. Display/Screen Quality It is okay, nothing great. It could be much better though. It has glitched on me more than I would like. It has issues with taking photos, even with a clean camera lens the photos have a tenancy of being blurry or dark. Call Quality I have had it cut in an out with some static but that is rare though. Ease of Use It is fairly easy to use and is nothing too complex. My boys use it for playing apps. Durability My sister and her husband also have this phone and both have cracked and had needed to be replaced. Mine has small scuffs in it so I made it a point to buy screen protectors. Design The design is, blah, it looks like everything else for the most part so there is nothing extravagant setting it apart from competing brands. Sometimes after playing apps and I return to the home page my background photo will change to one of the cheesy photos that come with it.

LOTS TO DO WITH HTC!

I find it very nice to be able to customize your phone the way you want it and how you want it to look. So it is not the simple plain settings that you are not able to change. Which is why android is a good choice to make if you are that type of person who is looking for a phone that you can customize, and make that phone how "you" want it to be. I had this phone for a period of time and really liked it! There was a lot of useful widgets that was much needed for my day to day routines.

Premature release

2

This phone promises all the bells and whistles, but does not quite deliver as promised. Battery Life On day one of the factory battery, this phone would not last a day. 9 months later, this phone doesn't last 6 hours on a charge. I bought a new battery, and now 2 months later I already notice the charge not holding as well. Display/Screen Quality Great resolution and have never had issues. Call Quality The calls are very clear. Occasionally, the phone will show adequate service but calls will drop or text messages will not send. Ease of Use The phone is easy to navigate and the learning curve for new users is low if they have any tech ability. Durability I don't use a case and this phone has held together well -- I do try to avoid dropping, but it has happened a couple times. My screen has always been covered by a clear screen protector. Design In the awkward size of too big for one hand but too small for two hands. The plastic is plastic, so not near the quality conveyed from a metal phone, but the designers built a visually appealing phone.

Best investment I ever made.

The reliability and performance of this device is wonderful. It has lasted the longest for me. I have not had a dependable device like this in a very long time. I think that if they could make more phones like these that last as long as this one more people would be happier with their phones.

Almost like having a laptop in your pocket

Overall I am very happy with this phone. The camera produces very good pictures which can be stored on a micro sd card. This is a nice feature of this phone. I am not happy that HTC has locked out the ability to use the Foxfi app. The only way to connect this phone to another computer as a modem is by using PDAnet. Battery Life I have installed the extended battery sold by Verizon. It makes the phone a little thicker but is well worthwhile. I originally bought a third party red "compatible battery for this phone, but, this battery caused the phone to go into a reboot cycle which required a factory reset to cure. Display/Screen Quality Touch screen is larger that other similar phones. This makes typing on the virtual keypad easier. However, I have to turn the phone horizontally to maximize the keyboard size and minimize the typing errors. Durability I have had no malfunctions or cracking issues thus far. Design The phone is simple to get used to.

Nice Looking, Easy To Use!

I love my HTC Rezound! I got it about a year ago and absolutely enjoy it! I also love the "Sync with existing contacts feature!" It will sync Facebook and Twitter contacts, so their info on the selected social media sites will be featured under the Name and Number of your particular contact. The most recent picture of the contact will also show up when they call you. The Beats headphones that come with it are good. I love my beats, however when I started to use them at the gym all the time, the earbuds kept falling off and eventually one side of the headphones stopped working. One of the main reasons I purchased it was because it came with Beats Headphones. The Beats that came with them are great, but I do not recommend them to be used with working out and regular exercise/running.
