the g1 has a very small touch keypad on the screen causing ppl to press the wrong button.  but the reg qwerty keypad is good very easy to push the buttons.  there good about the phone because you get alot of free applicaions all you haveto do is download yhen and the same for the games.  there are...

After seeing my boyfriend's phone, I knew I had to change to T-Mobile and get the HTC G1.  I wanted a touch screen along with a full keyboard.  The phone lock is great so there are never any accidental calls.  It is fully integrated with Google Maps, Gmail, and all Google functions.  It has helped me out by turning on GPS and using maps to get out of a tight spot.  I apparently have bad directional skills.  The battery life, especially if you are using the internet browser or playing games, is not great.  I feel like I have to charge at least once a day, if not more.  I tend to use the...

I am sad to say I don't have this phone anymore, thanks to a run-in with a glass of ice-water. My phone fought water and the water won. BUT! This is a review of the phone when it was working! So here we go...

The touch screen on this phone is second to only the I-Phone of all the touch-screen phones I have tried. The Android operating system is great, it's simple for non-advanced users but has the open operating system available for all the techies. This makes for some hit-or-miss applications on the Android Marketplace, however most of the apps are free!

The T-Mobile G1 is an awesome phone. With the apps, touchscreen, camera and (decent)speakers you'll be glued to your phone any chance you get.
