Good phone

4

This phone is my second smart phone and I have really enjoyed it. The interface is easy to navigate and attractive. My only problem with this phone, and frankly, both smart phones I have had, is that when talking on the phone my cheek will occasionally hit the end call button on the screen. I wish that these smart phones could be smart enough to tell when I am talking and disable the end call button while I am in the middle of a conversation.

This HTC Desire HD has a 4.3 multitouch display. It is equipped with 8 Megapixel camera (very good perfomance under low-light condition), DOLBY audio and DLNA. It is also loaded with Android 2.2. It is definitely one of the top Android smartphones. HTC Desire HD uses HTC Sense which is more than a user interface. The phone has functions like Fastboot (shorten turn on time from 30s to 10s), cloud computing with HTCsense.com and HTC Hub (HTC's own apps download center). This top smartphone also has a new generation Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8225 processor. It has a better 3D perfomance as compared to older generations. This enables the phone to run smoothly 3d games and video streaming. Features: -4.3 inch display, 8 MP camera + dual LED flash light, 720p video recording, Qualcomm 8255 1 GHz CPU - 768 MB RAM, 1.5 GHz, multitouch up to 4 points, offline map, fastboot, etc Drawbacks: - Poor battery life, weaker display color, 164g

HTC Android is worth every penny.

I am in love with this phone. My husband has the HTC Android, but I use it enough that I feel I can fairly review it. First off there is only one thing that I absolutely hate about it and that is the battery life. When it is fully charged it only lasts about 10 hours. My husband is in the military and is at work from about 5 am to 5 pm every day. The batter usually dies completely around 2 o'clock in the afternoon and if there were an emergency at home, I wouldn't be able to reach him on his cell phone. This is why I love the phone. It's extremely user friendly. The web browser is really fast. I had an iphone and I didn't like it because it was really hard to type on and would always auto correct to the silliest words when I would text on it. I figured it would be the same way with the Android, but it's not. The "buttons" are big enough that I almost always hit the correct letters. It doesn't suggest off the wall words to me when I do make a mistake. It is really easy to customize the wall paper and ringtones. The alarm clock is simple to set and we use it every morning. The phone itself is just really pretty. It is lightweight. The touch screen isn't too sensitive which is another thing I didn't like about the iphone. The camera on the phone takes really nice, sharp, photos and it has a flash which is a good plus to have. The "lantern" feature is really bright. I haven't had a need to use the lantern feature yet, but it's nice to have. The ap store has a lot of really fun, free games. When you download a game, it's extremely fast and also realy easy to uninstall applications that you no longer want. I use the facebook ap on the Android all the time and it works great. We use this phone with Verizon Wireless.
