Ok folks maybe MONDAY MORNING was not the best time to make this call but what I thought would take all of 10 to 15mins at best spanned out over a 2hr period and by the end of the call I was on fire and by the time I got to work I had one ol major headache(lol)! A call about a simple cord turned into a major pain in the ...almost making me regret my purchase.......almost.
PROBLEM 1:
Most of today's customer service over the phone is from some sub-contracted overseas company and the level of communication can be poor...to say the least making it hard to get proper help and a straight answer for your questions.
PROBLEM 2:
Asking for a supervisor does not lighten the load either because getting one on the phone was like pulling teeth and after getting one MAJOR regret set in after the experience. I asked this gentleman (3 times mind you) for a name and number for their corp offices only to be told that one would have to contact me. I am not one to have my intelligence to be undermined so after pressing the matter I was given a phone number alright.........one that was NOT in working order. By this time I am ready to go bone crazy and hit the web to get a proper number.
You would think after spending a good penny for a product you would be treated like your business was appreciated but I felt the exact opposite and at the end of the day be it $1000 or $1 you should be treated as someone who's satisfaction matter's. I am happy with the product I purchased but HP's customer service / phone support system sucks BIG time!
