We are a big family--6 kids! We need to have a computer that is going to be able to handle a lot of usage AND be able to withstand dirty fingers, rough fingers, and KID fingers. This computer is going strong after 6 months. It works fast--the touch screen is great, and the kids love it. It's a great machine that also can handle a lot of usage. We are on it at least 10 hours a day. It's simple to use, and GREAT for a big family. Ease of Use Even my three year old can use the computer touch screen. It's big enough and the touch is sensitive to her little fingers. Hardware Quality It's still holding up after 6 months--with 6 kids. Support & Service I really haven't had any issues, so I can't give any feedback on this. Durability We moved 1200 miles across country, and it help up like a champ--plus six kids, too! Design I love how compact the whole thing is. The screen is big, but we don't have lots of extra cords, speakers, cameras, etc. AND with a wireless mouse and keyboard it is the best! Performance It gets the job done!

**HP TouchSmart 300 desktop computer** was kind of an impulse buy.  It looked really cool, and the idea of touching the screen to do certain jobs seemed pretty cool.  Honestly I don't use the touch capabilities as much as i thought i would.  This might be the case with many people, but overall the touch screen works fine for me when i do use it, it reacts to my touch like it should.  Also the capacity on the hard drive, and the gig of ram I got on my computer worked perfectly. If you can chose, make sure you go higher with the capacity on the memory so your computer can work in a fluid manner.  Also, the screen needs to be cleaned often it seems it gets glare at times, but its not a hard thing to do.  One part I really enjoyed with the computer itself was the accessories that came with the computer, the keyboard and mouse are wireless, which is great and the best part for the whole system.  A computer can be a pain in general because of all the cords that sit behind your desk, and there is one, yes one cord that is needed for the system! Its great, so give it a try.

*** I didn't have the cash to buy this computer outright and i needed one for work and school, so I went to Prime Time Rentals{rent to own}. They let me try out the Touchscreen before I bought it {no credit check}. I loved it from the start and i will be keeping it! We pay a little more for the desktop vs buying it cash, but it's worth it! So far I have not had any service issues with the computer{keeping my fingers crossed}. The coolest thing about this computer is the fact that it's wi-fi...i can put in anywhere in my house{like a laptop} mine has a 750gb hard drive...i don't know much but, I think that's pretty good...i've had other computers, but this is the best!!! I Love everything about it!!! I would recommend this touch screen computer to a friend, and if you want to try it before you buy it, go to Prime Time Rentals in South Jersey****{NJ}***

The HP TouchSmart 300 Desktop Computer was bought after an old computer the we had just wasn't up for the job anymore. The HP TouchSmart has a stylish look and it is easy to use. There is a pin inserted in the top of the monitor and that is what you use to control the monitor. You don't have to use the pin though, you may also use your hand. It is good when to use the screen especially when trying to teach someone else how to use a computer. It runs very fast so you don't have to wait forever in order to do something. There are help manuals in a lot of places to explain things about the computer that someone might not understand. The only thing that I can say that is bad about the computer is the fact that you have to buy batteries to go in the keyboard and it seems as if you have to replace them very often. The one bad thing about having a touch screen is that sometimes it does not respond when you are trying to do a lot of things and it freezes sometimes but not a lot of the time. Sometimes things have to be erased from the hard drive because there might not be enough space for everything that you want. But overall, this is a very good computer to have.

I bought this computer on impulse and it was one of the best buys I have made, as far as computers go. Extremely easy to use, fast and love the touch screen!!! The monitor is 23" and extremely clear!! It's all wireless so there is no mess with wires getting tangled up!! I would recommend this to anyone from beginner to pros. The one con is the screen is so sensitive that when a fly lands on it the screen moves around!! Easy to move around and doesn't take up any space as it is "flat". I would highly recommend!!

HP product continue to get better every time. Know that they have this touchscreen destop computer I am better equipt with a cool tool to finish my work. With the cool design and feature its just as seen a plasma tv with internet accesss to it.This device is durable, fast, has new features that everyone would like, and isnt that sensitive. With other computer pc this one is just the right size, that will perfectly be place anywhere in the house without making a mess or taking a large quantity of space. With the tin feature of the screen it is very tin and durable. It is easy to navigate and easy to type. Best feature is the DVD. When playing a video the quality of the picture is just amazing. With the bright color and easy to see features build into this device is like having 3d glasses. The only thing that many new products today is that their prices are to high for some people to affort. While it is a great device to own it can be expensive. Also the small amount of hard drive can be a problem for someone who needs to keep a lot of information in that pc.

My family LOVES the HP TouchSmart computer.  It is our kitchen computer, our version has the ability to be a television, watch DVD's and connects to NetFlix.  This is wonderful because I can watch the television while also looking at a recipe for dinner.  My children love the fact that it is a touch screen, the only issue is keeping the screen clean once they have touches all over it.  Another plus for this computer is that it is wireless, which allows us to place it in the kitchen without having to have the cable company come out and put another box in for the computer.  It can be slow, but it is because I have all of my pictures on the computer and have not taken the time to put them on a flash drive.  If you are one that likes to have numerous programs you might want to get a larger hard drive.  This computer works well for our family and is a wonderful tool to have in our kitchen.  I would go out and purchase another if this one crashed.  Great product!

Recently purchased this computer to be used in the kitchen area with the family and it has served its purpose well. The computer has a very responsive touch screen and is very compact compared to normal desktop computers. Originally purchased this to go on the wall in the kitchen but decided against it because of the weight and since it would be continually pushed daily, I rather it not be attached to the wall. In terms of featuers, it has a dvd drive, memory card slots, usb port slots, audio slots, and so on. It comes with a nice keyboard and mouse but those are rarely used if at all. The computer primarily is used only with fingers and works very well. No need for things around the table when all you need is just the computer itself. I would totally recommend this to other people but do note that it does get quite warm so remember to turn it off after extended use. I usually turn it off at the end of the day.

I got the HP Touchsmart after my old dinosaur computer that I had for 10 years died on me. I personally was looking for an HP computer since the products that I had purchased previously from them always are durable and seem to last a long time.  What first attracted me to this was that everything is compacted into this one station rather than having a separate monitor and computer case. I have limited amount of space in my room so I definitely appreciate the practicality of it. I decided to put a little more money on the table and opted for the addition tv tuner--one of the best purchases I have made!  The tv tuner works through windows media player and has the ability to record, watch live tv , and browse the tv guide. I love how I can set a show to be recorded ahead of time and just come back later to watch it. When running, the computer is fairly quiet. I occasionally use the touch screen ,but anyone with arthritis would greatly appreciate it more. I try to stay away from the touching ,since I like to keep the screen clean and free from fingerprints. I do not use the wireless mouse that came with it, however, since I frequently forgot to turn it off and so the batteries were drained away very quickly. But those who dislike to hassle with the cord will probably be pleased for the wireless mouse. Overall, the computer runs fairly smoothly, takes only a few seconds to boot up ,and I haven't experienced any problems as of yet.

This computer is great! It has a full function touch screen with on screen menus if you want to use them, touch programs that are fun for kids and adults, it has lightscribe which lets you burn and image and words directly on the DVD or CD, no need for sharpies or printed labels again! You do have to buy light scribe discs for it to work. The computer itself is fast and runs smoothly, updates are easy and adding new devices like printers ect are a breeze. The newer ones come pre-loaded with window's 7 you do not get a windows disc but they create a restore image on your computer to reformat or "reload" original specs. It is a nice feature and makes a quick restore but I personally prefer to have the window's disc that I payed for when purchasing the machine I feel like im paying for something im not getting im sure this all about cost and saving  money not having to send discs. They come with an SD card slot so you can insert your cards and load all your pictures on which is a feature I use all the time. Overall I am extremely happy with my TouchSmart 300!
