The HP - Photosmart M525 camera is a great value for the money you spend on it. But don't waste your money. It's not worth the headache. This is my second HP camera, and I have not had great service out of either one of them. I truly believe that HP makes these cameras cheap so you can replace them in 6 mos. to a year. the model M525 latch broke, because you are trying to fit the batteries into a tight fitting compartment along with the memory card and you have to slide it shut in order for the batteries to stay in.  Which all causes you to put extra pressure on a spring that is not made for this type of wear and tear.

After that if you have problems with the camera, don't call customer support because you always get someone you don't understand what the Hattie's that are saying so in return you have to repeat yourself over and over again. Secondly, if you ask for a supervisor that you get someone who speaks English (maybe) that want to sell you a replacement camera for more than the camera is worth.

The only good thing I have to say is it is CHEAP. Buy a Kodak....... :(

I haven't tried Kodak, but the Canon digitals have worked out good for me.
