Excellent pictures, color is great, easy operation. Love it!

This  camera is so easy to operate and download photos. I am not a technical wizard but the operation is super easy. The photos are  just great. Color and definition are excellent and the deletion of card is easy.  Camera catches images even when I make a mistake. Would highly recommend to anyone  who may be new to digital photography and it  would make a great  holiday gift.

I got this camera for Christmas and I LOVE IT!!!! I have a few other digital cameras but this one I LOVE! It is very easy to pick up and use with out reading a novel. It is worth the money although doesn't cost much any way. Pictures come out great. I would highly recommend this camera or any HP camera.

Great digital camera!

The HP Photosmart M525 digital camera is really great! Some of the PROS of the HP Photosmart M525 digital camera are: Not too heavy or bulky, takes good quality pictures, has some editing options, not too expensive, you can also buy the package so that you have the camera and the printer so printing pictures is super easy, cute looking camera, easily connects to your computer to download pictures and share them with friends.  Overall, this is a great camera Some of the CONS of the HP Photosmart M525 digital camera are:  The only thing that has bothered me about this camera is the fact that sometimes it has a slight delay when taking a picture.  This wasn't normally a big deal to me until I had my daughter and since babies don't sit still for too long to take a picture, I end up missing some cute shots because she moves before the picture is captured.  Other than this, it is a really good, solid digital camera.

Love it ALOT!

I got this as a gift a couple years ago and aboslutely LOVE IT! It has everything that you could possibly want on it and in it and then some! I bought another camera because I thought the flash was going on this one, only to find out it was the batteries. I found that between that camera and this one that they just didn't compare on how this one worked. The ease of control and use was outstanding! Would recommend over and over! I don't use the digital zoom that much, and you can tell from the screen if a shot will come out good based on the green or red frame, once it is green you are good to go! The ability to choose the different layout for whatever you are taking a picture of is amazing also! I sometimes take a picture of a picture and when using the portrait function it doesn't even look like I took a picture of a picture! I have used this camera for so many things for the last couple years, I am truely amazed by its capabilities. I have used rechargable batteries in this camera, and regular but the flash will eat the life of the regular batteries up much faster than the rechargable. So use rechargeable batteries. I am happy with this gift and look forward to using it more and more down the road! Highly recommend!

HP M 525 digital Camera. Terrible! Do not waste your money!

1

This camera is the worst camera I have ever used! Poor pix quality and it breaks down easily. The first one I had lasted me 6mths. I contacted HP for another one and they sent me the same camera. (A refurbished one at that) a total piece of crap! Do not waste your money!!!!

I have had my HP M525 for the past 2 and a half years. It has been one of the best digital cameras I have had the chance to own. The option to fix your picture right on the camera is great. That is less time I have to spend fixing them on the computer I can just download and send without having to fix. It is great my next camera will also be an HP.

The HP M525 is excelent for taking digital field notes.

The HP M525 is intended to be a "KISS" starter camera and as such it fulfills the that particular slot, and as it comes from "HP" with 512 mb "SD" card is quite useful. As with all HP products it comes with a well thought out owner's manual, software, and means for downloading your images to your laptop or desktop computer. Please if you purchase this item or a similar item, familiarise yourself with aforementioned items.  But, with the upgrade of larger capacity "SD" card and better quality and capacity rechargable "AA" batteries the camera becomes an excellent addition to the field kit of any researcher who requires good field notes and has skills in the area of sketching or handwriting.  The camera is able to produce clear, sharp and high quality images of many objects, which would require hours of tedious hand copying of inscriptions and portions of newspapers and documents.  As a field Genealogist I find a photo of an inscription is far superior to a  hand written copy of same and leaves no question of if you copied it correctly. Also, the small size and light weight of the camera along with the ability to rework a copy of the image after  the fact make the system a joy.

This camera is great, easy to use.  It doesn't take a techie to use it.  The picture quality is great -- especially since I need pictures for sales on line.  It's good on close ups and far away shot too!

The HP - Photosmart M525 is a cheap camera.

1

The HP - Photosmart M525 camera is a great value for the money you spend on it. But don't waste your money. It's not worth the headache. This is my second HP camera, and I have not had great service out of either one of them. I truly believe that HP makes these cameras cheap so you can replace them in 6 mos. to a year. the model M525 latch broke, because you are trying to fit the batteries into a tight fitting compartment along with the memory card and you have to slide it shut in order for the batteries to stay in.  Which all causes you to put extra pressure on a spring that is not made for this type of wear and tear. After that if you have problems with the camera, don't call customer support because you always get someone you don't understand what the Hattie's that are saying so in return you have to repeat yourself over and over again. Secondly, if you ask for a supervisor that you get someone who speaks English (maybe) that want to sell you a replacement camera for more than the camera is worth. The only good thing I have to say is it is CHEAP. Buy a Kodak....... :(
