I really, really, really love my Hewlitt Packard Photosmart C5580 color printer. It is really user friendly. It prints really good photos. It does color photos and black and white photos as well. It prints every standard size photo there is, like, 5x7, 8x10, 4x6, 2x3, and other sizes too. The quaility is really good when you use photo ink and photo paper. You can also download your photos directly into the printer and print the photos from there without having to download onto the computer. It's also great for printing grocery coupons from coupon websites too. I save a great deal off of my groceries by doing that. As a matter of fact I'm sure I have more than paid for my printer by doing that. It's also great for printing reports for school as well as lots of other assignments. I'm sure there is a whole lot more I could say about it if I thought about it for abit. I do know I have used a lot of other branded printers and none of them come close to being as good as my HPC5580. I do nothave a photo of my printer, but it looks nice.

If you don't need a fax then this is the printer for you. The HP photosmart C5580 gave me an issue within 3 weeks of buying it, but the customer service on it was quick and I was shipped another one in two weeks. I've yet to have a problem with it since. My favorite feature is the fact that it scans so quickly and clearly, and also has photo printing capabilities that work great with many options. It comes with a bluetooth adaptor so it can go wireless and be placed near your computer without the wired mess. Also coems with an MS/DUO, SD, XD and CF adaptors that make it easy to print pictures without having to go through your computer first. I use this for school and work often and would reccomend it to anyone who wants an all-in-one. The only bad side is that the printer ink guzzles down very quickly and is not cheap, but it's a small price to pay for the great image quality that comes with this printer!

I've been using the HP Photosmart C5580 All-In-One Printer for about 6 months at the new office I'm working in. It's the printer that's on my desk and that I use most often for draft printing and for scanning documents and images. I didn't think much of the printer when I started, but considering all that it can do, I have come to like this printer. The only thing I really don't like is how quickly you seem to go through ink with any sort of regular printing. This All-In-One Printer can copy, scan and print. There's no fax function. You can also directly print photos from memory cards if you want to without having to use the computer. There's a small color LCD screen on the corner of the printer that lets you access all the functions and lets you preview photos before you print them. There are also buttons along the front that let you copy, and scan quickly without having to navigate the menu on the LCD screen. The scanner bed is on top of the printer. Just lift up the cover and you can scan something to your computer or you can copy it. I like the fact that with the scan function, there are a number of different options quickly available so you can save your scan in the appropriate format. Since 99% of the stuff I scan becomes a PDF, I have my C5580 set up to scan directly to PDF unless I choose otherwise. The copy function works well and I've used it a few times when I've needed color copies of something. The printer is a standard ink jet printer when it comes to documents and black and white text. With color, it prints good color graphics and while I've only done a few pictures since I've had it, photos come out quite well with this printer if you have the right paper for the job. Print speed is pretty average. I have my printer set to draft so that unless I'm looking for a final copy of something, I'm printing quickly and with less ink than normal. It does quick work of text documents, while graphics intensive pages tend to print more slowly, even at the draft speed. I know this is designed more as a home office or home all-in-one printer and so this complaint isn't exactly fair, but the printer seems to go through ink like a coffee lover at Starbucks. Seriously, I feel like I'm always changing the ink cartridges, especially if I use the standard sized ones, instead of the XL ones. Now I'm not paying for the ink so it doesn't pain me too much, but it is something I notice. I print more than the average user probably would here at the office, so I probably go through more than normal. **My Take** Overall though, I really have come to like this all-in-one printer. It isn't perfect, but it does all of its jobs quite well and it's worked as a general purpose draft office printer for me. If you're considering an all-in-one printer without a fax, this is definitely worth looking at.

hewlett packard hp photosmart all in one is great to use.  most of the time i use the computer to buy things and check my email and i am proud that i can do that, but the all in one is so easy to use that  i don't have to ask for help in printing or copying anything any more.  yea me! the photosmart c5580 was on sale at staples and i was able to turn in my old printer for a discount for the  new printer. it can print on dvds so that they look just like store bought dvds. it is just a great feature to have instead of writing on the dvds.  also can do the same with cds. the clarity of the copy is great also. there are not any real cons to this machine other than it is a little pricey.  just wait for the stores to offer rebates and discounts with your old machine and you'll wonder how you got along without it.

The Hewlett Packer Photo Smart C5580 All-in-one printer is truly the best gift I have ever been given. As an avid scrapbooker as well as the woman of the house, this printer is crucial in my daily life. I love that the ink is interchangable as needed and that any extra ink you buy for it comes with a holder for the ink to be placed in while not being used so that you do not have to waste ink in order to print with another ink(great invention!). Also, love that the pictures come out with such great clarity whether you print them off the computer or make a copy using the scanner. Another great function is being able to print directly on to media. I love that I can make a CD for the car and type the names of the songs on the actual CD! This printer is extremely fast as well whether it is with regular paper or pictures. I would  not trade the printer in for anything at this point. I love it and think that it is a great match for anyone who prints alot or anyone who likes to do creative things!

I really like my HP Photosmart C5580 All-in-one printer!  Prints great.  The photos come out really good.  The memory card slots and USB port make it really easy to print photos directly from my camera.    With the purchase of particular CD/DVD roms, you can print your label directly onto the disc.  I haven't yet tried this feature yet, but I am looking forward to trying it.  You can also scan with this printer and make both black or color copies.  The one drawback is that the ink doesn't seem to last quite that long, but that is something I expected.  I am very happy with the Photosmart.

I love hp printers and this one is a great one also. It prints,scans, and copies fast. The only negative thing about this printer is if you're planning on printing pictures off it it, expect to buy alot of ink cartridges for it. The pictures come out awesome, but the cartridges get drained fast and it gets expensive to buy ink cartridges quite often.
