This was a very useful tool and lasted me for around 2 years I believe. Performance This had many functions that I enjoyed and made it so much easier to deal with than it might have been. The small screen gave very clear and easy instructions on how to align new cartridges and up until I ruined it printed many things very well. Copy Quality Most often this feature did very well although I did manage to copy some things incorrectly, or if you had something off in a corner it'd confuse the machine and copy large blank sections. Ink/Paper Use One thing I wish this had but doesn't is the ability to copy onto both sides of a sheet by itself without manually flipping the paper. The printer seemed very fair with the use of ink and could stretch a cartridge out over many sheets of paper, if you didn't mind the fading as the cartridge became empty you could use it for a while, and ordering new ink was fast and easy as well. Durability Don't feed thick paper into your printer, it can knock the tracks off and all your paper will either jam or print slanted.

I currently own the HP Photosmart C4780 at my home. I have to say this is a great printer for pages with high quality color and of course black and white. What I really love about this printer, is not only can I print, I can also do scans and copies, which I can save to my flash drive or on the hard drive of my desktop computer or laptop computer. The HP Photosmart can hold up to a few hundred sheets of paper and does not jam if the paper is put in correctly, which I like. The only trouble I have had with this printer was setting it up for a network sharing in my home, between me and my wife's computers, It is a challenging process to set it up, but once it is connected, your life when printing cannot get any easier then this. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a PC or MAC Computer at home, it prints out great quality pictures, and so many capabilities you can do with this printer.

I have always used HP for printers and computers. My current printer is an HP Photosmart C4780. I haven't had not one problem with this printer and have owned it for just over a year. Performance Never had a problem until I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 32 bit. The printer malfunctioned but HP made it easy to download the updates for the upgrade. One again it is performing just as well as it did the day I bought it. Copy Quality High quality printing is excellent but I mainly us fast draft to save on ink and try to us the black (color sparingly) whenever possible. Ink/Paper Use Prints at the right speed for me but you can load only about 25 sheets of paper at a time but for my needs that is ok. As for ink cartridges. They are expensive but remember, you get what you pay for and with HP printers the cartridges last much longer than others I have seen. Whenever possible use fast draft and you will get more copies and your ink will last longer. When I think about quality and amount of ink used, I think "HP". Thumbs up! Ease of Use May seem a little complicated at first but after a short time you'll find it easy. Durability As with most all HP products, durability is a plus. Feels and looks well made where other brands are light and feel cheaply produced. Design Just the right size for me and the design allows it to sit just right on my desk and is easy to retrieve copies and make copies.

I absolutely love this printer (we have the wireless version with the touch screen).  I like that I can go to any computer or laptop in our house and print from this printer without having to hook up cords.  This printer prints photos in outstanding quality and save me money printing out photos for relatives and friends living far away.  I can easily print anything from coupons, important documents to photos.   I love how easy it is to get what I need printed done.  I love the touch screen that allows me to pull up the printer menu without going back to the computer to figure out what is wrong or the difficulties printing documents/photos.  I like how I can reset my print requests from the touch menu also.  I find this printer highly affordable and efficient.  This is a printer that takes care of all your printing needs and is the only printer your family will ever need.  I highly reccommend this printer to everyone.

I bought this printer because of the price and the ability to print without wires. I was tired of having to always reconnect my laptop after being at school or the library to print off materials at home. Now I am able to print using my wireless ocnnection. In addition, I can scan articles and recepies wirelessly. The touchscreen feature isn't anything to write home about. I mean, really HP, stop trying to be all cool. Just make it simple for me and thus have the price go down! I do not use my printer regularily but the ink reader is not very accurate. I have printed over twenty pages in both color and black and white since the low ink alert came on. I guess HP wants you to buy ink as soon as the cartridge goes below a quarter tank.

I love my printer that i got in aug of 2010 because it works very well and it saves me money on ink and paper!!!! I am thinking about getting another one soon if they go on sale, just in case this one decides to kick the bucket on me!!!! Well, I think that because I got the printer with my computer as a set, I recommend buying it as a set instead of the computer and the printer apart because it saves you money in the long run with the prices of shipping! I LOVE MY PRINTER!!!! It's soooooo easy to use because you just push the button and let it boot up and there you got a pretty printer waiting to be used!!! I hope that you consider what I have written and check out the facts for your selves!!!!!! Hope this helps!!!!

We recieved this in a bundle, so we didn;t have much choice as to which printer to get, but I am happy with it. I really like that the scanner is built right into the printer- I no longer have to have two separate machines for those functions. I'm still trying to figure out the scan functionality, though. I can't just click "scan" on the scanner, like I would have predicted. Instead, I have to open up the software on my computer and direct it to scan from there. There's got to be a reason for that, but who has time to figure it out?? I am overall very happy with the quality of the scans and the prints. It gets the details on the scans- very important to me since I frequently scan receipts for work. I have yet to print out photos, so I cannot speak on the quality of that feature. It's nice and compact, and folds up when I am not using it, which is a big plus for me. It would be nice if I could somehow store the paper incise when it is folded up- each time I go to use it, I have to unfold it, then hunt down the paper. Too many steps. I have tried and tried to use the wireless feature, but it takes a really long time to print. I'm talking a half hour. I usually give up, go over, and plug it in.

We got this with a rebate when we bought our iMac. There weren't many choices with the rebate and we wanted wireless so we thought we'd try this. We had previously owned Epson or Lexmark printers. We have had this for a year now and we are very happy with it for the most part. The print quality is pretty good - I actually think I print more with this printer than any other printer I have owned. It's easy to use and understand and even the photo quality printing, which we don't use that often at all, is pretty good using the right paper. I love the wireless part - it's great not to have to have it right on the desk with everything else and actually allowed me to get a nicer desk for my new Mac. The ink cartridges aren't too bad. Cheaper than Lexmark and they always seem to be on sale and readily available. They are certainly cheaper than the Epson cartridges I had to buy. All in all we are pretty happy with this.

HP in itself is a fabulous company! The HP PhotoSmart C4780 All-In-One InkJet Printer says it all! It's great, light in weight compared to other printers, clear graphics and text, wonderfully bright colors, and does pretty much anything you need it to. It's so easy to use! It has options for the multiple pages you need to print back to back for example. It features options for editing, storing and printing specific photos you have if you want to put albums together lets say. You can use the HP TouchSmart Frame to help you do that too! It also helps you make personalized cards or certificates for friends and family and calendars you can create, design and decorate yourself. With all these features it's hard to say no. It's really advanced. It's a wireless printer too! Our wishes came true, it's so much more convenient now to be able to use printers such as this one. I highly recommend this printer to anyone who's looking for a time-saving high quality printed result. It works great and is definately worth its price.

I bought HP PhotoSmart C4780 all in one inkjet printer about six months ago. It was a good price and worked  great at first. It has been so convenient to have a printer, scanner, and copier all in one machine. However, my machine has a mind of its own. I frequently have to turn it on and off because all of the lights will start flashing and won't work. The pop up on my computer will tell me that its out of paper even though it has paper of tell me that its out of ink even though I have just put in a new cartridge. Sometimes it will shoot all of my paper through at a very fast speed without ever printing anything at all! This machine always ends up getting the job done but only after some manupulation. I do alot of printing for my job therfore I have the replace the cartridges quite often. The cartridges are smaller than ink cartridges I have had for printers in the past. This machine worked perfectly for the first couple of months but is not good for office use if you are having to use it quite a bit. It seemed to wear out pretty fast for me.
