I purchased this Hewlett Packard All in one Wireless printer because I was looking for a printer with a built in wireless capability. The printer has a small footprint which makes it easy to use in my space challenged office. It was easy to set up and get started with.  It has a problem solving icon on my desktop that installed itself when I inserted the installation CD.  On the rare occasion when I was unable to print, I was able to go online and fix the problem myself without having to call tech support.  I am not very tech savvy so I would say this is an extremely user friendly product.  The quality of the print is excellent.  It copies in color and does an unbelievable job.The speed of the printing is merely okay. If you are doing big copy jobs, this is not the copier for you. The cartridges are small and must be replaced often.  If you dont buy the HP replacements, the printer will read that the cartridges are empty and you will not be able to tell how much ink you have left in them.

This printer is an excellent value for everyday printing. I occassionally use it for printing pictures as well. The quality of photo printing is very good. However, it is not as good of a value as photo printing for large amounts of photos, those I send out but it works when I need a photo in a pinch for a school project or scrapbooking project I am in the midst of. The printer is a workhorse. Adjustable settings let you adjust the quality for ink saving purposes. My favorite thing about his printer is the wirless ability. We have a desktop and two lap tops printing off of this printer. My only complaint would be that occassionally it takes itself offline for wireless printing but that is easily remedied. I have also had issues with it changing it's IP address in regards to wireless printing. A bit of internet detective work and a change to network settings solved that problem as well. The colors are nice on the best settings and the printing is crisp as well. I am an HP girl through and through. I would recommend this printer.

It sucks!  The wireless printing doesn't work.  Don't put more than one sheet of paper in at a time; it will jam without fail.  Seriously every time I have to print, I have to feed each individual page through one at a time.  If I don't, the printer will grab multiple sheets of papers and jam!  This is seriously the antichrist of printers.  Don't even accept this printer for free; throw it in the dumster and get yourself a good printer!  The ink is expensive too!

I have had this printer for about 2 1/2 years and we love the way it prints!  It has such great quality and is very fast.  I also like the widget that you can have on your computer that tells you how much ink you have left.  It works perfectly if hooked up to my computer via a USB cord. Otherwise, as a wireless printer, it is so difficult to set it up so it works wirelessly.  It worked in the beginning when I originally programmed it, then all of a sudden, it wouldn't work, and it took me FOREVER to find a website where someone talked about how to reprogram it.  Then, it didn't work again, and I am now searching for a way to reconfigure it so it does work.  It only works with my computer, not my husband's.  The HP manual was useless, as their configuration never worked.  Also, it is not scanning, never wirelessly, and not even with the USB plugged in now.  The printing/scanning is so great when all of the extra features work!
