This is my third laptop computer and I love it! It has a screen that rotates in any direction. It's small enough to carry anywhere. The webcam is awesome and fun to use. The keyboard is spacious, and the keys are full-size.The AMD CPU runs fairly cool, so it doesn't overheat. It's a dual-mode touchscreen/digitizer display. The screen is very responsive to touch, and double-clicking icons and dragging windows with one finger is easy. The tx2000's stylus is long and fat enough for comfortable long-term use and also does a good job navigating the screen. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a powerhouse laptop that doubles as a tablet.

I've had this tablet for just over two years now and I still use it to this day.  I go to the university and have been using it mainly for that purpose.  This is great for a student because of the ability to fold the monitor into a notebook.  I use it to take notes (on Microsoft OneNote) and it keeps all my notes in one place and organized.  This is also helpful when the professor doesn't allow laptops and I always get away with it when they see that it turns into a notebook.  The touch screen is amazing as well, I have never had a problem with it.  It always opens everything that I touch and the pen writes exactly how I write.  The screen is very clear but I highly recommend getting a cover for the monitor if you intend on writing on it.  You will end up getting permanent scribble scratches on the screen.  The cover will help protect that.  There is a built in webcam that is excellent with good video.  The microphone has been very useful as well.  I love the monitor and how it turns.  Its nice if you need to show someone in front of or to the side what you are looking at; so instead of moving the entire laptop, you just turn the screen and show them.  The processor is okay (sometimes slow), the computer does take quite a while to boot up becase of all the applications but this computer is definitely worth the money spent for all that I have used it for.

The HP Pavilion tx2525nr...the best computer 've owned. I'm atually using it right now. This laptop is small and portable. It was a god design which makes it reall stylish. The HP Quick Launch buttons are so nice-just press it and there you go! It also includes a built-in webcam! The webcam also includes a built-in microphone. The screen rotates up to a 180 Degree Angle. The computer also includes a DVD burner with Lightscribe technology. The video card area includes an S-Video Output and a VGA Output. It also includes a DSL Input. This laptop includes an SD, MS, Pro, MMC, XD Multi-Card Reader. This computer makes it easier to do daily tasks and expand your work to movie production, music producion, photo editing, and movie editing. It also makes it easier to watch movies, listen to music, and watch a slideshow of photos. I have had this computer since July 31, 2008. I've only had one problem-the screen broke, but that was taken care of.

I needed a new laptop and asked my husband then boyfriend to find me one. He got himself an HP touchscreen before so he figured I would like one. Overall, I think it's compact and easy to use. My favorite thing is how I can swivel the screen around to show others what I am looking at. As for the touchscreen itself, I think it is a pro and con thing. I don't use that feature as much but when I do, it's a nice option to have.  But sometimes though, it can be annoying when I want to touch the screen to point at something and I would "accidently" click something. I like how it is small and fits into any laptop case easily. It's not heavy like the old laptop my husband has. I love the sleek design. I like the built in webcam but I am thinking that is a standard on most laptops now. If I had to replace my laptop in the near future, I will consider getting another hp laptop. I love my current one and hope I don't have to replace it anytime soon.

I cannot say enough good things about the HP Pavilion tx2000!  I've had mine for almost a year and have never had a single problem with it.  I love how the screen rotates around to become a tablet - that feature was very helpful while I was in school.  It also has a stylus that attaches to the base, which makes it so so easy to use as a tablet.  The touchscreen is very responsive and reads my handwriting without any trouble.  I love the media functions, and the webcam works really well - I don't have any issues with lighting or clarity like with some other build in webcams.  I keep waiting for it to slow down because of all the stuff I have saved on the hard drive, but that hasn't happened yet!  It's light enough for me to carry around without killing my shoulder, and it's small enough to put into a big purse (that was one of my main requirements when purchasing a new laptop).  Overall, I love it, and it was worth every penny!

HP tx2000 series laptops/entertainment pc's are powerful little units! With a 12.1 inch swivel screen display, and tablet pc input functions, they provide tremendous versatility as well as everday functionality. I recently installed Windows 7 on this laptop, and it performs flawlessly.  The design characteristics are top-notch. The machine is beautiful. Even though the screen is smaller than most laptops, the graphics are awesome. Powered by nvidia, the graphics are smooth and high quality.  The flip-screen tablet feature is too cool. Many of my friends ooh and aah, and look at their machines a little sadly when I put the unit into tablet mode. It even has a built-in wacom pen! Besides the security features included with windows, there is a fingerprint reader for added safety. I can use any program on this computer with no problem. Large files in Photoshop are handled with ease. I can run several programs at once with the built-in 3gb of system memory, and have ample, though not gratuitous, storage space with the 250gb hard drive. Memory card reader, built-in wireless, and an ergonomic and obviously high-quality keyboard make this laptop the perfect business trip companion, or stay at home main pc. Hp regularly updates and monitors system health and security, and supports the product excellently. All in all a great value and a great pc! Thanks HP!

Originally, when I purchased this computer, I was a Senior in college and really needed something to keep up with not only the pace of the classes I was in, but to keep up with the technical demands of every class. This computer has several features that were literally a survival tool I don't think I could have lived without (and now I'm just spoiled by them.) - The obvious reason why I got this computer: The Journal capability! The screen flips down and onto itself, and in a flash becomes a reg ol' piece of notebook paper, complete with digital pen  that works *exactly like you were taking notes in class... * - Then, you can do one of two things: one, you can save it just like it is, and keep a running page listing just like you'd do if you were keeping notes by hand. OR - You can convert it into a typed document. The program will actually learn your handwriting style (or lack thereof) and convert it into print The small size was important to me also. The screen is just over 12 across, but has a beautiful HD screen. Everywhere I go, people ask me, "oh, is that a Mini?" and I constantly tell them, "NO.. This is a REAL computer!" Because it is!! It burns disks, organizes my iTunes, Netflix, and every account imaginable. I'm hopfully starting Grad school in the fall, and I can't wait to take this baby into class with me...

I absolutely love this tablet, it is better then most of the tablets out there and cheaper too! With the webcam, fingerprint reader, DVD burner, it has everything I could ever need. Recommend you get the bigger battery though, it stick out a little but it works as a handle for holding it in your arms as you write.

The HP pavilion tx 2000 Laptop has everything I could ask for in a compact size. It is great that the screen is swivel, lays flat to act like a tablet and has a touch pen and on screen keyboard when needed. It has Windows Vista which I have had no trouble with. I like that it has bluetooth and is compatible with my Blackberry cell phone. The microphone and built in webcam makes it easy to keep in touch with my sister who lives in Arkansas and her new grandbaby lives here. I love the mouse pad. After using my mouse pad, I can't seem to control my daughter or Husbands. I use my laptop everyday for work and play. I also love the Graphics on the back of screen and on the edge of keyboard
