I got this laptop because I wanted a good, portable computer for using the internet, downloading and editing photos, and using Word. I mainly use it as a netbook so high specs weren't really important but I felt this laptop had some good features and had a good price as well. I've been quite pleased with the laptop, enjoyed using the web cam, and found it to be totally suited to my needs. As far as problems go, I really don't have any major complaints. This laptop has been very reliable in the 5 years I've owned it. A few downsides: the keyboard catches dirt so easily! I love munching while I'm IMing so this was a BAD thing for me. The keyboard is collecting way too much evidence of my snacking. Also, the keys are very annoying to replace when you need to clean under them. Also, I recently had trouble with my power cord no longer charging the laptop. This was very likely my own fault for leaving it on my lap and inadvertently supporting it on the cord. However, replacing the cord is an easy fix and not a high price to pay. Overall, good performance and perfectly functional for my needs.
