I bought a hp G6-355DX laptop a month ago. I was very happy to see that it had all the features I was looking for. This laptop came with a web camera, dvd r, 3 usb plugs, a sd slot, wireless internet, and a lot more. I bought this laptop because my desktop computer was starting to have problems and once I looked at prices to rebuild my desktop computer vs buying a laptop it was a hole lot cheaper to buy the laptop. I had a old cheap laptop before this one and it was very slow. This HP laptop is very fast and I can do a lot of things at the same time. I have no problems running games or just surfing the web. It comes with windows 7 and even though I was using windows XP I first thought that I would have problems with the programing change but I was amazed just how easy it was to use the new programing. The screen is a 15.6 inch and is a very clear crisp contrast. I have had told many friends about this laptop and a few of them have been very happy with what they have heard and seen.

I bought this computer a bit over a month ago to replace mt old HP Ze2115, which went bad on me, and the hard drive quit working. So far, for the price I paid, this laptop has been good to me. I am happy with most everything about this computer. I like the scren size and portability. It even fits in my old laptop case. I play some games, and have had zero glitches. Very easy to get set up to my wifi. Haven't had any problems, so I'm not sure how customer service is, although, with my last one, HP was great when I contacted them with any problems. As I said, for the price this has been a good deal for me.

The first thing you notice about this laptop is the case material.  The entire case is textured very deeply.  The plastic feels high quality and the texturing makes it feel more solid somehow.  The texturing also makes it easier to get a grip on the laptop and prevents smudges. It is a nice touch. The LCD isn't behind glass like on some pricier laptops, but the bezel has a very shallow rim which I like.  It uses a conventional style keyboard (not chicklet), but the keys have an odd pyramid like design that makes the tops of the keys seem farther apart.  I don't like the look of it, but it works fine.  The touchpad suffers from the oposite situation.  It isn't marked in any way, which I like aesthetically, but I often find my fingers running off of it.  The touchpad buttons are a little stiff, but passable. Performance is respectable for the price; it feels snappy running through everyday tasks.  The screen has good colors and decent contrast.  It can playback HD movies smoothly.
