very light but lacking in power
My girlfriend got me this netbook for Christmas. I was eying it for several months. I must say it's pretty light. It's perfect if you're always traveling and want to stay connected, watch a movie, or catch up on work. I was comparing it to the Ipad and it's definitely cheap than the Ipad but it's no Ipad. This is my first Hp. I've always purchased Toshiba or Dell but I wanted to give HP a try since they've gained popularity over the years but I can say I'm impressed. Pros: The battery life is great. I've had this netbook in the back of my car for days and it usually hibernates and conserves all the battery power. I surf the net a lot and the battery have last me for hours...more than any other devices I've own in the past. It's portable and light. I carry it in my bag pack with another laptop and sometimes 2 other laptops and load of crap. I've replace my other laptop with it since I use to use it for surfing. Cons: First the screen looks clumsy. There's something just not right about the graphic compared to the other netbooks I've looked at. Second, it's slow. I'm always getting a high usage message. It gets annoying especially when I only have Internet Explorer up. I think it's good for entertainment, movies web surfing, email but you may need to look for something more powerful if you want to use it for more advanced tasks.
