This printer does what it says it does; printing, copying, and scanning. It does them all well, but takes more time that some newer more expensive models. Performance Print quality is good in both color and black and white, Rarely get any problems unless there are 2 sheets of paper in the feeder and it grabs both at once. Copy Quality Copies are nearly identical to the original, it is a simple machine so it does 1 sheet at a a time not a stack like some more sophisticated equipment. But for the typical home office or college student, it is great! Ink/Paper Use The ink lasts quite a while, even if has been sitting for a few months it will still be good, and if not just shake the cartridges and get a few more weeks-months out of them depending on how often you print. I do not know how to describe the paper usage, it doesn't often ruin any, so that's good! Ease of Use Pretty easy to use when you've got it all set up and the software installed. Sometimes it takes a little bit for the scan button to tell the computer to open the scanning software, so you can open it manually first and save some time. Durability I have had this printer for about 8 years now and it is still going strong even after many car trips over school vacations and a few moves it runs great! Design Design is fine, no complaints, the color scheme is appealing and does not fade over time. There is also a handy UBS port in the front of the unit to allow you to print photo's straight from your camera, but I cannot speak to that function because I have never used it.

This all in one inkjet is just perfect for the kids. It prints all their homework needs, and all my work needs. this printer takes two cartriges, color 28 and black 27. this printer works all in one with a scanner and printer. you can alsoi cancel the printing process in the middle of printing so you dont get unessesary waste papers. It doesnt run out of ink to fast and i usually get my cartriges refilled at my nearest walgreens phamacy. It's a very cheap cost to get them filled. I recommend this printer for a new bussiness because it's small and when you earn savings you can purchase a better one, but for now this is the one that works for me and my family.

The Hewlitt Packard all in one printer scanner copier has to be one of the best printers around. I love Hewlitt Packard products anyway and always purchse their products becasue they are highe quality at a very reasonable price and this printer is no exception. It works wonderfully and makes great copies from any picture I put in it and prints very nice off of the internet. I can even print pictures off of it and the quality is very good cond=sidering it is not intended for that purpose. All in all this printer is high quality and very reasonably priced. I purchased mine at a major membership club store and I have not had any problems with it. It has performed very well and doesn't jam. It does use ink pretty fast but don't all printers. I woule definitely recommend this printer for anyone who likes to print things. It is so nice having a copier as well so I don't have to run to the store.

     **The Hewlett Packard PSC 1315 All-In-One Ink Jet Printer** is one piece of computer equipment I never get tired of.  In the past year or so, I have been through numerous computers, keyboards, mouses and other computer accessories but have continued to rely on this printer.  Being compact and easy to use, I recommend it to PC users of all different needs and skill levels.  The ink cartriges are simple to replace, the quality of print is excellent (in either color or black and white), the scanner and copier are a snap to use and the paper is easy to load or change.      The **1315 All-In-One** has a sleek and sophisticated style that looks very professional.  It has a simple grey/silver color with a simple tinted plastic paper tray and cover.  I have used it in my home and also taken it with me to the office.  It is light-weight and compact.      To me the best quality of all this machine has is it's simplicity.  Connecting/installation is really simple.  Even friends and relatives that are visiting and need to print, copy or scan a document or even a photo can operate it without the instruction manual or much tutoring on my part.  The price is quite reasonable and the fact that I tote it about and it still is functioning as well as the day I purchased it is a tribute to its durability/reliability.      I have owned about a dozen printer-scanners in my time, but for my time and money the **HP PSC 1315 All-In-One** is the *only* one for me!

I got this printer several years ago and  I have really enjoyed it. I used this going through college and I can't tell you how many times this saved me from getting a bad grade at the last minute with the copier and scanning option. I would defiantly suggest getting an all in one printer for college and this was a good option. We did have one problem with the printer and computer working together I think that was actually a problem with the computer because we recently got a new computer and it works just fine with the new computer. I would see this isn't a top of the line printer so I would not get it if I was doing graphic design work or for a business but for a personal use it works great. It also has a picture bridge feature that I have never used because I like to edit my pictures on my computer first but I would imagine this could be a nice feature if you were printing pictures from your printer.

I have always been skeptical of printers. It seems these days, that they are getting cheaper, while the ink for them is getting more expensive. It has now become the norm in our family to buy "disposable" printers. Those that are cheap as possible, use them til ink runs out, then toss and buy a new one. Its Cheaper that way! BUT when I bought the HP psc1315 all-in-one printer/scanner/copier, I changed my mind. I love the way you toss something in, hit copy, and it prints out the copy, not just makes a file of it! It is easy to use, and has the buttons where you can see them clearly on the front. Very neat, compact design, that doesn't take up too much space. Again, the ink is going to be a problem. For the first time in my printing history, I ran out of black ink before I ran out of color! That has never happened before, and probably never will again! I have yet to price the ink, but time will tell. So far, the pros may outweight the cons on keeping this one around for a little while longer. All in all, a nice printer.

I have the HP 1315 all in one printer. It has a scanner,copier and printer in a great compact and nice design. This printer works really great. I have had the printer for a while now, The scanner works great and it prints pages and pictures quickly and with great color.I love the resolutuon you get from the scanner. I mostly use the scanner to scan pictures that I want to reprint or edit on the computer. They pictures come out looking great as if they were already a digital picture. I also love the copier because you dont have to have the computer on to get a copy of what you need. By just having the printer on, you can hit the copy botton,whether color or black and white and your off. It prints out your copy fairly quickly and with great results.Only thing I think is wrong with it is that once you try and refill the ink cartridges the printer will keep giving you an error message. It might have been designed to read the cartridges and not allow you to reuse them. I would still recommend this product.

Wow, incredibly all of the reviews from viewpoint seem to give everything 5 stars.  How useless!   So, I'm not going to slam this HP 1410v printer because it did last me for a few years.  The one thing I really hated about it is that whenever it lost power, it had to be recalibrated.  To recalibrate it the following steps must occur: 1) It makes a calibration test print page. 2) You must take that page and scan it?  I think... Maybe make a copy.  I can't remember. 3) Use the printer normally. The problem with this is that if you forgot about this calibration stage, then the printer just doesn't print.  Also, about 1/3 printing attempts, my fiance said, "It's not printing".  To her dismay, this last non-printing episode, I was forced to put my fist through the scanner to attempt to make it print.  Since this action destroyed the printer, it is now headed to the city dump.  Yeah!

The HP all-in-one deskjet printer/scanner/copier provides reliable use for the average home user.  The copy function is quick and efficient, offering copies in both black and white and color. The scanner portion is a bit slower, but scans with high quality resolution. It scans in large file sizes, which can be good or bad, depending on what you are looking for. The printer works just as well as any other HP printer (reliable, little-to-no problems with jamming). It takes a versatile ink cartridge and the cartridges last for a decent amount of time. The fact that this unit is all three things is impressive and convenient. It is small and sits well on my desk, keeping office appliances to a minimum. I don't have to plug 3 things into my computer, it is all in one USB chord.  I'm impressed with the product and would recommend it to anyone looking to keep computer equipment to a minimum.
