We have had our HP printer for about 6 years I believe we purchased it in 2004 or very early 2005.  It still works great, according to my husband it is wireless and we used to have it hooked up that way but recently he tried to set up the ipads to print from it and it wouldn't work so he said we probably need to update the printer since we purchased a imac a couple yrs ago and we need a newer printer to get it to connect to the router or something like that so I guess we are not using it as wireless right now, but we used to before we switched rooms in the office back when he had a laptop.  But it had good print quality and we have never had any problems with it.  It scans just fine and has the option to do the document feed to copy or fax.  My work actually has the exact same printer and the main problem that we have there is the feeder will break real easy and you can only feed 3 papers at once so you have to stand there to keep adding more papers to feed, but at home we don't use the feeder hardly at all so we don't notice it here.  It as lasted us a long time and prints very quickly and has been extremely reliable, I just think someday soon we need to upgrade to a smaller printer that will connect to the router to print from the ipads. But other than that I have nothing negative to say about this item.

The HP Office Jet Pro L7580 All In One Inkjet Printer is a great printer. It really is an all in one printer. I have owned other printers in my time, Which i will not say the names of them, But the all in one is the very best. I would recomend the HP all in one printer to anyone and everyone that is shopping for a printer. The ink consumption is fantastic compared with others on the market. The ink is also very reasonably priced. You choose how much you pay for the ink too because you can buy one single color or buy the value pack that has all the colors in the packet. The HP all in one office jet prints very high quality prints and very fast. It has a feature that allows you to choose the quality from one to three. I keep it on two and it does great. I have printed pictures on it and got compliments on how the pictures looked. The people thought i had them professionally printed by a photographer. Well i told everyone that i did have them profesionally printed by me at home on my HP Officejet Pro L7580 All-In-One Inkjet printer.

I bought the HP OfficeJet Pro L7580 All-In-One InkJet Printer about 3-4 years ago and have utilized it as my primary printer since. While I didn't really need an OfficeJet Pro to complete my printing needs, I purchased it anyway. It was primary used in my final 3 years of college (so the use was printing paper, reports, lecture material and some advertisement of my organization).  The ink lasts a long time (the black ink for example is estimated to last for 2000+ pages). The fact that Cyan, Magenta and Yellow are separate ink cartages also helps save money as you can replace each one individual (for example, I find that I use Magenta about twice as fast as yellow).  At first I also networked my printer so all house-mates could utilize the printer. This worked for about a year until the printer decided to stop accepting network print jobs (I reset the network, the computer, the printer, everything).  It is large and takes up a lot of space, be prepared for this.  The scanning feature is great (high quality) and the ability to copy without needed the computer is very very useful.  The largest negative is simply the fact that it is still an inkjet printer. While this may provide some cost savings, the value of a laser jet simple outweighs it. The example I give to people is that I print recipes, a lot. With the inkjet if the paper gets a little wet, the ink runs. With a laser jet this would be much less of an issue. The inkjet ink also fades faster than a laster and will smear.  For an inkjet, this is a great printer, but do yourself a favor and get a laser. (and the HP lasers are highly recommended, I use them at work and they are great).

i love this printer it does everything, prints, copys, scans, and faxes. u can print wirelessly which is great for when u have a laptop or pc in another room, it prints in letter or legal and a wonderful array of different formats, even birthday, and business cards too. It can print wonderful 8.5 x 11 borderless pictures perfectly and the ink lasts really long. You can copy without it being hooked up to a computer and there is also a junk fax blocker to prevent unsolicited junk faxes from getting to you. u can reduce or enlarge pics at te touch of a button and u can also print and copy in black and white or colored.

The HP Officejet Pro L7580 All-In-One Printer is the best I've ever had, simple set-up, Scan, Fax, Printer, Copy, print photos. It has 4 ink cartridges, you only need to replace one at a time and the ink lasts longer than any other printer I've ever had. Never have any problems and I use it daily. When and if I ever need a new one I will definately buy a HP Officejet Pro Model. Judysplace
