This all in one printer/copier/scanner is very slow at printing/coping and scanning and  only works half the time. You try to print something and sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't. On the times that it does work sometimes it will print something that you were trying to print weeks ago and no matter how many times you delete it off it will still print it off sometimes more copies then you ever wanted.

I have had a brother and a lemarx printer  and both were junk.  This hp printer is a dream machine its very quite and don't shake the table like the other 2.  I only paid 100.00 for it off the hp site so very cheap but for the money its the best buy. Also free shipping came with that price.

Good Overall HP Office jet Printer

4

This is a very good and reliable printer.  I have had this printer for three years now and I have only a few actual complaints.  The scanner is very slow, but reliable.  The ink seems to go a little fast, but I buy the less expensive HP 92 and not the HP 95 ink cartridge.  If both the black and color ink cartridges are not in the printer you get an annoying insert ink cartridge pop up that I have not figured out how to turn off.  I do not have a phone line so I have not had a chance to try the fax; however the copier works great too.  The auto feed is easy to work and I appreciate the fact that you can control the copier and scanner from either the computer or the printer itself.  Furthermore, there is a space for portable media so I can print or save a file to a USB drive without first placing it into the computer.  Overall, unlike other HP products, I dont think you can go wrong with this printer.

Good for small office copying, printing, and faxing.

I have had it two years and like everything about it except for the fact that it is prone to frequent paper jam. If the paper is not placed in it absolutely right a jam occurs. Also you must be very sure to separate inserted sheets, so they don't stick together causing a jam. When this happens, it is very hard to remove the offending paper without a danger of damaging the printer. Other wise it is very dependable and has given very good service, and I've learned through trial and error how to prevent them. The printing is clear in both black and color. It scans quickly and produces good, clear copies. Photo prints are very good also. The fax on it works well, has auto answering, and speed dial. It provides all the functions that are needed by my home office, and I use it several times everyday. It has not required service. I do wish that the ink cartridges were less expensive and lasted longer. However, this seems to be true of every printer I've ever owned, and I've not found a good functioning one that is cheaper. I have not tried using refilled cartridges although some friends of mine have done this to cut costs ink expense and report no problems.

simple to use

have had this all-in-one printer for a very long time. bought it at least five years ago i think. the printer is rather good; the stuff printed out is pretty clear. what i don't like is the scanner. when scanning something, it seems to make the colors of the orginal picture a different color. like, the colors seem to fade a little bit. and i don't know if it is my problem or not, but it seems like whatever i scan, there is always this line on the things i scan. i try to clean the glass, but even after i've cleaned it, there still appears to be a line on he scans. as for the fax, at first it seemed to work. but then now i don't know why it doesn't really seem to work. i run the fax test and it says everything is alright, in other words i passed the fax test, but whenever i try to fax something, it never seems to work. over all, i think this all-in-one printer is pretty okay, except that the scanner part is not that good in my opinion.

The HP Officejet 6310 All-in-One is an all round best buy!

5

We recieved our HP Officejet All -in -One as a wedding gift 2 years ago. Since then, I am shocked at how much we have had to use it. It has become a necessity to our everyday lives. This was our first anything connected to our computer. I was amazed at how simple it was to learn to use all the features on it. We have faxed and printed and copied and scanned with perfect results. It does an awesome photo shop as well. We like the compact size it has because it can fit almost anywhere easily. The price of the ink is low compared to its length of use, and it is easy to find. We've had absolutely no problems with it the entire 2 years. I would recommend this to any first time buyers and users. It is an inexpensive high quality product which is really easy to use.

The HP OfficeJet 6310 works great but the ink is expensive.

I like the Hewlett-Packard OfficeJet 6310 All-In-One because it provides for all my printing needs. It prints great photos, greeting cards, and everything else. It was easy to set up and easy to use. I have never even looked at the manual. I don't like manuals and love it when I do not need them. I have not needed the manual for anything yet. It was easy to figure out how to use it for printing, copying, and scanning. It also has a fax but I have never used it. It is probably easy to use to but I do not have any use for it. The only problem I have with the Hewlett-Packard OfficeJet 6310 All-In-One is that the ink is expensive to replace. So you have to shop around if you want to save yourself some money. I buy all myt replacement ink online because you can get it a lot cheaper than any actual store you go to. The Hewlett-Packard OfficeJet 6310 All-In-One is also very reliable. I have had mine for over 2 years and have never had any real problems. I have had a couple of paper jams but they were easily fixed by myself and really did not cause a problem. Just some wasted ink & paper which is not that bad. It has memory card reader slots so you can print pictures without a computer but I never use that either since I like to enhance my photos before I print them but I as sure to use this function would not be diffcult either.

The HP 6310 all in one printer has been a Godsend

4

I have used the HP 6310 all in one for two years and it's been so useful, we purchased a second one for a portable office in our RV.  It  is great in "limited space" areas, like home offices and, now that we have a new grand child I've been printing and editing photo's like crazy.  It is also useful when you have a home business and one partner works in another state.  It helps keep in touch faxing files, and sending diagrams.
