put on a steady surface cause it does the boogey!
I got the HP 6000 all in one printer with my new laptop. I hadn't had color before, so I figured I'd get it and see how it was. It's an okay printer for me- though I usually print B/W I do some color printing as well and it does very well for that. It takes a little time for the printer to get the information to print and the printer is shaking the whole time. One problem is it moves and shakes well before and during the printing process. My cat runs and hides when it starts and looks like she's running from an earthquake tremor than a printer. I wouldn't use this if you had a baby or toddler down for a nap- or nervous pets. I can't say that it is saving on color or black ink as I haven't used it much and am having to replace the whole ink system already. Its okay for most things and the color is nice and vibrant. One disappointment- being wireless doesn't mean it will work with a wireless laptop. You HAVE TO HAVE a wireless system- hub, internet, the whole nine yards, to be able to use the wireless printer with your wireless laptop. So if you don't have a wireless system in place already, I would get another printer than this one. Performance for what I paid it is pretty good. LOUD and shakes, rattles and rolls while working (and not working) Copy Quality Mine doesn't make copies Ink/Paper Use it seems to go through the colors pretty quickly- and i don't even print color that often. Ease of Use I tell it to print, it prints. Easy peasy. Durability moved it a few times, dropped it once- still works. Design Its honking huge! Almost four times as big as my last printer, 3 times as noisy, and guzzles color.
