I have a love hate relationship with this printer. When I first bought it about four and a half years ago, I absolutely loved it. It could do everything from fax, to making copies, scan and print. The one thing that anyone should know about this printer is that the ink is so expensive. It does scan items fairly well, but you cannot scan things like thick cards because they tend to become stuck and jams up the machine. It is also difficult to scan delicate pieces of papers because the roller will end up tearing it into pieces. One other thing is that you cannot take the top half apart in order to clean it. I had a small piece of paper jammed underneath the roller and it took me forever trying to pry the paper apart with a small pair of tweezers. Other than those minor things it is a pretty good machine. It was money well spent, I would recommend this for household use, but not office use.

My boyfriend bought my HP printer for me approximately four years ago.  I love it.  Being able to fax, copy, scan, print using just one item is great.  The print quality on it is great.  I have a digital camera and I print pictures from this unit.  The quality for pictures is great.  Most printers do not have this type of quality.  The cost was great also.  For a unit to do so many different things at the cost then is incredible.  I love the memory features on it also.  When I moved and changed telephone numbers it was so easy to change the number on the fax part of it also.  This unit does not have a phone on it and I like that.  This way I can turn it off when not in use.  The scanner is great also.  I have scanned in a lot of old photos with it.  The quality when printed is great.  I have put quite a few photographs on the family genealogy website from it.  When making copies it is so convenient if I need to copy more than one page.  I just put the sheets in and it feeds them through.  The ease of replacing the ink cartridges is a great feature also.  I would suggest this unit to anyone.

This printer is a good one! We had the old style home printer before this one that only performed one function. Printing. The one does everything! Print fax scan copy! It is really so much more handy to have. We use all of the functions and have had no problems at all. You can get the warranty just in case you use your printer alot! HP is always a reliable brand and you can buy ink etc. at a reasonable price. I am more than happy with this printer and the price was not too bad either. This printer would make a great christmas gift for the family or student. I would recommend this one!

I initially bought this printer because I needed a fax machine.  Over the years I have owned many inkjet printers. The hp OfficeJet 4215 is by far the best.  I use it to print color proofs for my customers and the finished product is very similar to the Pantone Ink from the Press.  I love it's versatility.  One button copy, scan & fax is great!  When making several copies, after the first one prints, the rest just fly!

I love this all-in-one fax, printer, copier. It's easy to use, offers multipule functions and takes up very little space. I do a lot of work with hard copy pictures that I scan to my computer to use in connection with online photos. It prints out pictures very nicely. I can operate it via buttons on the device it self, or from controls that are loaded onto the computer.

I have owned the HP Officejet 4215v all in one ink jet printer for over four years now. I love that it prints and does other things as well. Being able to fax from this machine and to make copies from this machine have been VERY handy at times. Since I live ten miles from the closest fax and copy services in town, these functions have served me well and have been HUGE conveniences and time savers quite often. As far as printing, it is what I call a light duty printer. I do not have a frequent need to print documents, so I don't need a heavy duty printer with a lot of speed and other bells and whistles that I would probably not use. This machine also functions as a scanner. This is not a function that I use often, but it has been very useful for scanning in copies of documents that I can then attach to an e mail. This machine was not expensive, and it has more than paid for itself in the time and travel costs I have saved.

 I have had my HP 4215 Office Jet for over 10 years.  I have not had any problems with it, and when I did have a problem, it was my fault. My printer has never been taken in for repairs, it just keeps going and going just like the energizer bunny. I highly recommend this product.

Nothing like this printer, cost efficient, (cheap ink cheap printer) and reliable. I rarely have to actually replace the ink and when i do its waaaay better than my old lexmark in terms of cost.  Only downside is that it bombards your computer with a bunch of useless HP software so just be careful about just clicking "next" thru the whole install  process or you'll end up with a lot of useless junk taking up your memory. Its prints pretty quick, not as fast as a laser but...what does? And it comes with an HP warranty so you can depend on that.  My mother also bought one and had to call to get help setting it up and not only were the people at HP very friendly, they remoted her and fixed a problem that had nothing at all to do with HP themselves at no charge to her. So customer Service is outstanding. So the pros definitely outweight the cons on this. I would definitely recommend it to someone who is looking for something that is simple to operate, cost efficient and reliable.
