This netbook is lightweight. It is easy to use. For being small the keys are big enough to use without touching the wrong keys. I did have to get a wireless mouse because it was easier to use. It seems durable enough that as long as it is taken care of properly should last.

What a fabulous laptop this is from hp. I have owned this laptop for a couple years and I'm still over the moon about it. It is so portable. I have taken my mini on several trips and it's so nice that it's easy to just stick in a bag or a purse and not have to worry about a huge, heavy laptop to lug around. The only thing that is inconvenient at times about this laptop is there's no CD drive. I don't use CDs too often so I don't mind it too much (and we have another laptop that does have a CD drive). The smaller keyboard does take a tiny bit to get used to, but after a couple days it's a breeze to type on. Another great feature is the ability to choose the color for your mini. That way you can have your laptop personalized. All in all this is an awesome product from HP and I LOVE mine! Speed/Performance not great for playing video games

I love reading emails, answering surveys and sharing photos with family and friends. This little netbook is perfect for me! I also work part-time as a merchandiser, so this computer is so easy to slip into my bag aon off I go. The battery life is amazing, it lasts at the very least 5 hours with heavy use and up to 8 hours with lite use. The netbook doesnt have a cd drive, but downloading stuff off the web is easy and so I havnt needed one. Of course this isnt a computer for anyone interested in gaming, but for everything else it is awesome!. Ease of Use Small and portable this computer is so easy to use. It has a touchpad, which is easy to use, but I love the feel of a mouse so I bought the HP wireless mobile mouse to go with it. The usb connector is so small I hardly know its there. And since the computer has 2 usb ports I can still connect another device while using the mouse. I love the fact this computer has recognized all my devices (IPOD, Printer and mouse) so all I had to do was connect them and not install anything! THis has been the easiest computer Ive ever used! Battery Life Awesome battery life. 5 hours continuous use, and 8 hours intermittent use. And recharging is quick. Ive had this netbook for about 10 months and the battery is performing as well as the first day I bought it. Support & Service I havnt had to take advantage of the readily available support from HP but they are there if I need them. Speed/Performance This computer is quick and performs better than the desk top I have from Dell. I havnt had any problems with it at all. Durability Durability is great! I use my computer every day, for about 5-6 hours. The keeyboard has held up well, and the screen looks as good as the day I bought it. Its a tough little computer that will last a good long time!

This netbook is okay but not the best by far. For the record I have always liked HP and almost all of my personal computers have been HP's. I have had one Dell laptop prior to this netbook. I have several issues with this netbook. I just learned today getting ready to do this review that this model is a refurb, I did not know that. That could be why I have the following problems. I am really considering taking this thing back, if I can. Hubby doesn't like using it at all. He has the exact same issues. (that's how I know it's the computer) A couple other things I am not pleased with would be that it only includes a "Starter" for Windows 7 and it only includes a 60 day trial of Office. I usually try to buy the computers that have Office installed already because I use them alot. (word, excel). Ease of Use Very easy to use for the most part. #1 - Mouse pad area is very touchy. You can accidentally, barely swipe it with your hand and it will completely mess up what you are doing. It is so bad I bought a mouse to use and have turned the mouse pad off. #2 - The Space bar. The space bar does not work like it should, if you are typing quickly you will more than likely not have spaces because you have to really push the space bar hard to get it to work. It's awful. Battery Life Battery life has been average. Support & Service I have recently contacted HP about my issues. They had me do some "things" (uninstalls, reinstalls, etc) not working. We have decided we are just going to sell this netbook and move on. Speed/Performance Not super fast, but average speed and performance for internet surfing and basic usage, emails, etc. Design This netbook is small & lightweight and is good for some basic computer uses like email & internet but if you need a "working" computer...choose something else.

I bought this HP mini because I was looking for something  that I could use to read ebooks,check my email and manage my online appointments without sitting at a desk for hours. I never thought that I would spend so much time on it. I hardly use my desktop pc anymore! ALready loaded with Windows XP, I tooki it out of the  box and I was ready to go. I love the fact that it is so msall and lightweight. Perfect for reading ebooks, much better than the electronic reades out there because not only can I download books,but I can get online as well. I can access my email accounts and my appointment calender while sitting on the couch, lying on the bed or sitting in my yard. I am a multitasker and some nights find myself watching tv while on my mini typing emails or visiting social network sites. One of the best purchases I ever made! Ease of Use Great for taking along with me to work because it's so lightweight and doesnt take up a lot of room Battery Life Still on the same battery from my original purchase. It lasts abotu 3 hours before I need to recharge Support & Service haven't needed any as of yet Speed/Performance pretty fast-if I am having trouble downloading a webpage on my pc, I can pull out the netbook and be guaranteed to have it turned on, online and the page loaded before the pc finishes Design sleek and slender. fits in most of my travel bags with ease (and some of my hangbags,too) Durability even with a cat that likes to lay atop it (I have since started keeping it in a desk drawer) it has held up nicely. I have no damage to it and it still looks like new

In my opinion about the Mini HP it has to be one of the coolest little devices that's for sure. You can do just as much on a mini as you would do on a notebook. It is really good for transporting around, especially if you are into the social networking. Great way to keep in touch with with everyone when you are on the go, especially when you are apart of charity groups, motorcycle groups, car groups any sort of thing and you want to upload video and pictures from your cameras the mini has a port just for your memory sticks and sd cards... although you must have an extra stick for the sd card because those are too small for the port it's self it could get stuck in the port and you'd have to shake the mini to get it out or use some other method to get it out. it has a great built in webcam easy to use, you can use it for live video you loading or private video conferencing with family and friends.  I have notice that the battery is very good for the first year, back that it battery like any other battery starts loosing its ability to hold it's power and the battery dies faster then you would think it should.

When this netbook first came out, I was one of those gullible consumers that HAD to have it! So I got it and there it sits on my nightstand collecting dust for several months now. Does it work? Yes. Is it to my liking? No. I thought that it would be a good item to have not just for searching online in bed, but also taking to meetings for my volunteer work. It does do the simple things like search online and MIcrosoft Word, however if I have too many programs open at one time it crashes. My children can't play their favorite websites on this either. I am usually a fast typist but due to the smaller keyboard I make so many mistakes that I have to go back and fix. My biggest complaint is that it has such a small screen. I didn't realize that it would be a big issue when I purchased it, but for me it is. My eyes get really tired after awhile using it and since the screen is so small, if I enlarge the words then I have to scroll over constantly (which takes forever because there is such a delay).

I have always thought that HP was one of the top computer out there. Until I got this mini laptop for christmas from my dad. When i first played on it, it was fine. I used it for travel and anytime i went to someplace with internet. About a month after Christmas it started freezing up and over heating really bad and turning off on its self. That made me really mad. I know what to do with computers,So i unistalled and reinstalled the stuff i knew i could and it didn't help any! I called up HP and got somebody who didn't even speak English to help me get it straightened out. I ended up taking it back to the store saying what was going on and that I would like a new one but a different brand and they let me get another one and a different brand because it was the same price. I was so happy when I saw what i got but then after having so many problems with HP's computer I will NEVER and Yes I mean NEVER buy a computer from them again! They may be better then a lot of computer brands out there but they aren't the greatest.

I received this netbook last Christmas and i have had just a couple minor problems. The first was my screen went out, however, it could've been for any reason. My three yr. old was around it with her Gatorade(yes, Gatorade lol) and possibly could've spilt some on it.  So I called HP and their warranty covered fixing it since it was a problem with their product.  I shipped it out but had to pay shipping and handling fees one way.  Which I thought was rather ridiculous considering it was something wrong with their product.  When i got it back it was great!!!  It was running smoothly and they didn't have to wipe out my hard drive which they warned me they may have to do.  Now recently though, my computer is running rather slow which could be because of all the programs I have on it  But, lately it has been gettng very hot underneath. And when you turn it upside down or on its side the fan makes a very strange noise. Now i do not make a habit of doing that, but found out when I went to pick up my computer and it made the noise.  I do not know why it made that noise but it only does it every so often.  Even though the fan stilll does run I do not understand that.  I guess that is a question for HP.  Other than that I absolutely love it!!!  Its small but not too small.  Its just right!  And perfect for when I wanna tend to the baby and referee fights between my three and seven yr. old. :)  I do not have to run up and down the steps which I would have to do if I was on my desktop.  The battery life on it seems to last about two hours or so. I'm not too thrilled about that but this is my first laptop so I'm not exactly sure how long they should last.  Although it does charge super quick so thats good.  The keyboard takes some getting used to since it is a little smaller, so that just means more spellchecks lol.  The screen is very clear and the sound is excellent!  It is very light weight and easy to carry. I wish they came with a handle instead of having to buy a carrier for them but we can't have it all now can we?  So to wrap it all up, I would most definitly recommend this to anyone who is in the market for one!!!  Happy Holidays and Happy Shopping!!!   :)

thi slittle net book is great my daughter has one and she loves it.it small and can be taken anywhere.you can you everything on this net book that you woulld on a laptop.i just wish they made them with a disk drive
