I purchased the HP w2007 with my PC about 2 years ago. When I first recieved this montior I was amazed at the color and stylsih cabinet. The monitor is actually quite slim and has standard VESA mounts. However It it not good for rooms that are constantly bright like a room with a large window for example. I say this because the screen actually has a high gloss finish on it. It does make the glare horrible if you're viewing in behind a window. The gloss finish does make colors seem livley and vibrent though. A few months later I finalyl got around to getting back into my Graphic art. I thought everything looks great on it, and there plenty of screen space. This monitor is an older style of 16:10 ratio as opposed to 16:9, so if you watch HD movies on it there will be black bars on the top and bottom. The way I see it though is it's better to have black bars then less screen space for other activities. Howeve,r when I purchased a new Samsung monitor a few months ago and I set them up side by side for dual monitors I immediently realized how off-the color was in comparison. The gloss finish is most likely the cuplrit. It distorts the color in a strange way so you don't see the 'true' color. So overall this monitor is great for casual users and even movie watchers, but if you're a graphics artist stay away from this.

I love my hp lcd monitor.  I have had this monitor for a little over three years now and I have not had any issues withs its quality.  It is a perfect size for my little desk, any bigger would be too big for me.  I often watch movies on my computer and the quality is impecable.  Its clear and works perfectly every time.  I have external speakers on my computer so I never use my monitor as a sound device but it does have easy to see volume buttons on the bottom of the screen.  I think the most important aspect of a widescreen monitor is the picture quality and the picture on my screen is excellent.  I do not have an HD television, so I can really see the change in quality when I switch an HD movie from the living room of my apartment to the desktop computer.  The monitor is pretty sturdy too as I accidentally dropped it a couple of times behind my desk and it still looks just as new as it did when I first purchased it.

The monitor supports a 1680x1050 resolution and is a giant upgrade from 20' and below monitors.  Once you have used a monitor this size you will NEVER want to use something smaller again.  A great price as all monitors only seem to get cheaper these days.  It has a tilt feature that seems to be pretty cool where you can turn the monitor to make it read like a book.  It seems cool but I hardly ever go through the hassle of spinning the monitor and resetting windows.  The screen is already large enough to read just about any webpage.  The USB extension comes in handy when trying to set up your desktop with a mouse or keyboard.  On the down side there is no HDMI input which is disappointing.  The stand is a little awkward and requires quite a bit of desk space for proper placement.  The built in speakers are absolutely horrible and I would urge you to buy anything else.  I would definitely recommend it for the right price!

I have had this computer for about 6 months now and this monitor is amazing.  THe graphics are great!  You can see everything on the pictures.  To edit your pictures w/this screen is very nice and easy.  I would recommend this monitor to everyone.  The only thing I would say is don't sit to close you will get a headache if you sit a little away its great.  You should try to watch a movie on it..Oh ya baby.

I feel that the Hewlett Packard HP W2007 Monitor is the greatest monitor that I have had the initiative to use.  It is not too large that it is not to my liking, and yet it isn't too small as to where I would have to squint to look at it.  It has just the right brightness for having the light off and still being able to read what is in front of you if you are doing homework or other types of work.  Something that I also like about the HP monitor is that it shows more of the screen than older computer monitors. It also adjusts up and down if you need it to.  On its base, you can set things like pens and pencils or a notepad to use whenever you need them. This monitor is pretty easy to clean and looks fantastic when it is.  If you are looking for a great monitor that will complement your computer, then I suggest the Hewlett Packard HP W2007 Monitor, I believe that it wont let you down.

We purchased our HP Pavillion desktop system last year.  I love the HP computers!  This screen is designed so well.  Picture is extremely clear, large screen allows for less strain on the eyes, and it is thin enough so it does not appear so bulky on your desk.  I highly recommend purchasing HP computers!

I got my HP w2007 moniter when I purchased the desktop.  I was blown away by the wonderful picture quality.  The fact that it takes up such a tiny space on my desk was a fabulous bonus!  I can watch streaming video with a much clearer picture and that makes my computer using experience even better.  I love my HP!

This is my second HP monitor and they can't get any better then this. It show pictures and slideshows very well and it's great for wacthing movies. The children love to wacth movies and play their games on it. I love this monitor and the HP company.

Just purchased thid HP widescreen monitor. The picture is great. The widescreen is so much nicer to look at. The built in speakers are not the best. They are in the rear of the monitor and that makes the sound low. Other then that I love the monitor and would recomend it to anyone needing one.

This monitor has great clarity and is black so it blends in well in my kitchen where I mounted it.  Its sleek design made it a snap to mount to the wall above my breakfast bar where I spend most of my time.  I bought this reconditined and the price was extremely affordable.  The screen is bright and large.
