When I purchased a new HP computer back in August, I upgraded the monitor to the HP 2310m Full HD LCD model, which is a 23" screen.  I'm so glad I did!  It is a wonderful addition to our home.  Makes using the computer a complete pleasure. My favorite part is being able to watch TV on it or play DVDs and it's plenty big enough to see easily from across the room.  It's like having an extra TV in the house.  The color is perfect, so clear, is easier on the eyes to watch than a regular monitor.  My only complaint, if I had one, is that I wish the integrated speakers had a wider range of volume. It doesn't seem to be quite loud enough when the sound on a dvd goes low.  I plan to get external speakers to help that issue out. If you have the room and want an extra 'watch' station for dvds or shows online, this is a great choice of monitor.  It's attractive and sleek, not garish at all.  We like it so much, I almost hate to close the computer desk and cover it up.  I'd definitely buy it again!
