This laptop is well priced and its very reliable. HP itself is a very trusted and reliable brand, it is affordable and a brand that my family and I have trusted for years. We brought computers and laptops from HP and we have been happy ever since, we never switched to another laptop or computer brand and we are happy with this. This computer is really easy to use and it actually has a nice look to it, It's good quality for the reasonable orices they have, and what a lot of people like about the company is they offer many different laptops all at different prices and rates, You can even customize your laptop online for a very reasonable price, it just depends on the features you choose, so overaall great laptop!

All of our computers over the past 15 years have been HP, so I can only recommend this brand.  I received this model for Christmas and my son took it off to college in the fall.  He has been using his for over 4 months now and is a huge fan.  He is writing papers and using it in all ways that students do. I have been using a very old model (5+ years) and the compressor was dying.  It was SLOW.  This new HP notebook is like lightening!  I cannot belive how quickly it loads pages on the internet.  It is wonderful.  Also, I really like the larger screen (almost 17 inches) as well as the new finish.  I do not know what it is but it seems very durable.  Also, the new mouse pad area (not sure what the techinical term is) is part of the entire casing of the computer and is no longer the indented black area as on my older computer.  I found it strange for the first day or so, but really like it now.  The keyboard size is very nice.  Great machine.

This notebook is a great buy! It's not too expensive, but is easy to learn on and easy to use. The programs are great and the quality of the screen and quality of the overall computer is great. It is definately something I would recommend.

My first computer is  a hp pavilion entertainment pc. it is a great computer. when i went computer shopping and explaine this would be my first computer and had limited knowledge of computers this is what the clerk recommended to me.. it is easy to use.  no trouble at all.  it has haed drive protection if it is droppedor bumped. intel graghics are supersharp. It has 16:9 HP led brightview widwscreen display forHDtv and video playback.Inside it has intel core duo. runs on windows 7. sas premium sound. easy care. i was at J.C. Penny and saw an item called screen swipe. they are animal shapes for cleaning your computer screen very cute. my computer is almost one year old now and i love it. it is easy touch,good speed. in all what i need in a computer. my print is large,i need that now , email is quick, i am very satisfied with my hp laptop computer i highly recommend it. christmas is coming maybe somone on your list would like a computer.  happy holidays
