HP Desktop — 

I used to buy compac computers but had to switch when hp bought them out, I am on my 3rd hp desk top, first off if you are on every day most of the day or leave it on over night, dont expect your computer to last more than 3 years, so figure for that when buying the warr. for it, the one I have now has been back to hp 3 times for repairs always the same problem, none of the ports on the front work, noisy also ie and outlook stopped working and after being lied to 3 times on sending a box to send it back I finally contacted someone from headquarters and finally they replaced the motherboard cpu fan 3rd time for that, and many other things but the head person finally is sending me a new one because this one is only 10 months old, so maybe would think about buying another one because I thought of never buying one again, havent got it yet but should in another 2 weeks or so

Well to tell you the truth about HPs and their makers, they use junk parts to save money to help rip off those who don't know any better.

I have owned and have had many given to me to fix, and let me tell you, they are the most problematic computers I have ever worked on in my life. I hope you'll reconsider about getting another HP and maybe go with a DELL or a Sony if you want a pre-built computer from a corporation. But to be seriously honest with you, if you learn how to build them, you'll save about $500. In my life time alone dealing with HPs, I've went through a good 15 of them in 8 years. And I still have my old IBM from 1992! and it still works! :D If this one dies on ya, buddy, my suggestion to you is to quit buying them... I did.
