Bought this as an inexpensive printer. I've had 6-8 printers in the past and mostly good experiences. After about six months I am finally going to junk this baby:
1. It's an ink hog. I'd say 50% more than my Canon.
2. Perpetual pop-ups drive me crazy. I can't put my pc on snooze without the printer pop-up telling me I need to align my cartridges. And lately it's been asking for my install disc every few days. This has been relentless since I got it.
3. And now it doesn't work at all. I've rebooted, reinstalled, unplugged, etc. I'll give it a few more college tries before I give the thing away and buy another Canon instead (yes, the Canon has its flaws, but it has worked exceptionally well over the past two years).
