The HP Deskjet printer is a good type of printer for college students or the simple printing of letters or documents.  It does have a USB port for cameras, that you could print right away from...if you have the right type of paper that is.  Personally for me though, i need something more.  Something with fax, scanner, printer, and copier.  But this printer is still good for those simple quick things you need on the go.   I've never actually used the camera port, because i never really noticed it before.  But i would imagine it works pretty well.  I don't use my printer too much.  Mainly to print online recipts or video game information.  I've never had a problem with jamming or anything else.  Its a very reliable printer, like i said, for the college student who needs to print a paper, or someone typing a letter. I would reccomend this printer to that typical college student or for those business people who just types up letters or spreadsheets.

If you don't need an all in one printer, the 5400 series from HP is the way to go. Sturdy, with a retractable print tray to catch the printed pages, this printer is a real workhorse. I know, I printed out whole chapters of text for class. The printer also does a brilliant job on color printing.

The Hewlett Packard Deskjet 5440 is an extremely reliable printer. My family has used this printer for several years. My husband prints cover letters and resumes for his job search. This printer makes them look very professional. My sons use the compter for school projects and to print photos. The quality of the print is amazing. What I like best is that this printer is so fast. I used one in my room at school that was so slow, I would go do something else while I was waiting for my copy. My family and I have been very happy with the quality, endurance, and speed of the Hewlett Packard Deskjet 5440.

i love my HP deskjet.  It is so light weight I can take it everywhere.  It plugs in an plays on all my computers.  I have tried other printers and faught with drivers and setups but HP has fixed all that with a wonderful light weight versital color printer.  It does everything from letters to lables and even prints picture perfect pictures.  This is definiately what every home computer user should have.  While you are at it buy one for your college student that will thank you forever.
