The HP Deskjet 6980 series printer is a decent color printer. It is by no means fast. It takes a while for a color page to come out. But, it does a good job of printing clearly and the colors seem to be fairly accurate. It holds a decent amount of paper, but if you print a lot of documents it may seem that you have to refill the paper bin often. The printer cartridges are easy to change out. The printer cartridges are on the expensive side though. The black cartridge lasts about a year for my use, which isn't bad although I don't do a lot of printing on this printer. I can't review on the basis of the photo printing quality since I have never printed photos on it. Performance I have never printed photos on this printer. I have only printed graphs and charts and things of that nature on this printer and it does a great job. Ink/Paper Use It seems to do fairly well on ink use. Ease of Use It is fairly easy to use. Durability I have used it for years and it is still going strong.

This printer is, by no means, amazing. The photo quality is solid, but I've seen better. The wireless is challenging to set up, and much newer and better wireless printing technology exists out there. But I just don't think I can complain too much because this printer is as reliable as an old war horse. I've used it for six straight years now, which is pretty impressive.
