I've owned a few laptops over the years and the hp 2000 was probably one of the better ones and we can say it's my favorite.I bought this laptop last year, it's a good product. It help me to perform several tasks especially preparing my thesis report and its presentation. I recommend this computer for anything specially daily tasks at your home. what I like most about this computer is its appearance , it's really very elegant. this laptop, at times it gets slow for no apparent reason but most of the time it's all good I have no partner in the home so it is only me that uses it and I take care of my stuff. The only thing I do to always maintain is in good working condition which I think everyone with a computer should do is that I always scan it for viruses and malware everyday.

I have had this laptop for about 6 months and have really enjoyed it. This is my first HP laptop computer. Ease of Use This HP laptop computer is very user friendly. It was simply to begin using. I have had no problems understanding the functions. Battery Life The Battery life of this HP laptop computer seeems very efficient to me. It last all day for me. I am not sure how many actual hours of use I get out of the battery. Support & Service I have contacted Support once in the beginning and had a excellent experience. I have had no further need for support. Speed/Performance The speed and performance of this HP laptop is exceptional. I was on a limited budget when I purchased and was concerned that I was buying a less than adequate laptop. That was not the case. The speed and performance is outstanding. Design The design is very functional and easy to use. Durability This laptop is very sturdy and well built.

I'm not an expert by far on computers and this was why I bought the HP 2000 because I wasn't educated on computers. When I brought it home I was super excited to use it. I mainly surf the web, check email, and an occasional survey. I don't do facebook or twitter but I will watch a video or 2 on YouTube. The HP 2000 met those needs when that was the ONLY thing I did. When I decided to upload some photos and surf the web at the same time, the computer displayed a warning that I was maximum storage, which at that time I didn't understand what it meant. This HP come with Windows 8 and Microsoft Home installed on it. I wanted to upgrade to 8.1 but it required memory and this computer lacks memory. This computer is for basic surfing the web, checking emails, but it's not meant to have more than one program used at one time. I tend to switch back and forth between programs and this computer was slow doing that. After some research My advice is at the very least to get a CPU: AMD A6, A8 or A10/ Intel i3 for the very least to get MEMORY: 4GB , 6GB or 8GB never settle for 2GB. I ended up taking this HP back after owning it for a couple of weeks and spent the same amount on a better computer that was on sale at a reasonable price. Don't get me wrong this was a beautiful computer it had all the basics but I knew later on down the road I would regret this purchase, might as well buy exactly what you want instead of settling for less. Ease of Use Like with anything knew it takes time to learn, I had to learn Windows 8 which I am not a huge fan of. Battery Life I never let the battery run down, but I didn't own this computer long. Support & Service It seemed to have a great support and tech partnership. Speed/Performance Just not fast enough for me. I'm used to a slow desktop and this computer couldn't perform basic programs running simultaneously. Design Love the sleek look of this computer. The keyboard was neat and modern. Durability Built with quality.

I received my notebook for christmas from my son. He knows I like using my smartphone and my desktop to go online, whether its research, shopping, answering surveys, keep up with the celebrities. I also watch movies and down load them, and music: I purchase, listen to and download my favorites. He purchased HP 2000 PC Notebook for me because, he knew I desired to be able to fo the things I love to do online with convenience. My smartphone would be limited depending on what task I wanted to do. Then I did not always want to work on desktop, which is located in the livingroom. Sine I have received my HP 2000 PC Notebook, I have been so happy. It has all the lastest software and programs. It's performance is awesome, it's fast it is reliable, as of yet there's nothing I haven't been able to do on it. I had to learn Windows 8, but I love the performance of the HP 2000 PC Notebook. I not only would recommend this product, I have already told at least 20 people they have to get one. I now have the convenience of working from whichever room I desire. The design is sleek and it is not heavy, I have purchased accesories for it cordless mouse extra usb slots, laptop carrier. In short I am very satisfied with this product.

I give the HP Notebook PC 2000-299WM an overall rating of ten. I have had this laptop for 2 years (Christmas gift in 2011), and it is still running pretty well, and it seems to be keeping up with all these updates. The only thing that I think it could use is a little MORE PROCESSING POWER. If I connect to a Wifi network that has a lot of traffic, or not enough bandwidth, or the bandwidth is being monopolized, it tends to load internet pages it a bit slowly. Other than that, it is simply wonderful! For the price, it is the best value that I have found yet. It runs Windows 7 operating system, and it has plenty of memory, which is good for all my music, documents,pictures, and some games. And even though I have had to rid it of a few viruses over the past two years, it is still running like a champ! I know that the next time I buy a laptop, it is going to be an HP. This is the second one that I have owned, and I think that HP and Toshiba, and maybe Apple, would be the only computers that I would even consider buying these days. Battery Life The battery life has somewhat lessened of late; I can only run it for about an hour without being plugged in to the wall. Also, it gets really hot on the upper left portion (on the bottom, mostly, but after awhile, even the top and the keyboard begin to get hot up in that area), sometimes to the point of burning my leg so much that I have to set it down. I have a laptop cooling pad, but it is not always comfortable to use. Support & Service HP has great customer service and support programs/software that come stock with the computer (already installed). Speed/Performance My HP has a problem when connected to WiFi networks with routers that aren't properly configured. If someone is eating up all the bandwidth, it takes longer for my internet pages to load. Plus, I may need to be pretty close to the router in order to get good a good signal, even though all my bars are lit up, signal-strength-wise. Design The sleek design is modern and new-looking. It makes me feel like I am up on technology. Durability I have dropped my HP Notebook more than once, and so far, it has endured without fail. I try to keep it in a laptop sleeve when leaving the house for its protection.

Its a good laptop or everyday interest use. Its memory capacity is not that great and the battery kind of sucks. I installed all of the security stuff and it jus makes it really slow. Windows 8 is great! It has many handy features like a calendar and messaging. I organize everything on there. Speed/Performance The more I added software on it, the slower the pc got.

I have had my my laptop for a year now and there has only been one major issue and my warranty with Hp fixed the issue with no problem and I have not had anymore issues. Fast with many apps this is a good computer for work, internet browsing and games. The cons are the windows store is limited with the amount of free apps with quality that are offered. Most apps that are good you have to pay for it, the other con is this laptop is absolutely useless without proper internet protection. Overall this is a good quality product with lots of features. The Hp support center is one of the best features available, fast and accurate this center keeps your laptop and software update. As well as offering online real customer support, reliable with good services Hp has always been a trust-worthy company and with a affordable price this was a good buy and solid product that i would definitely recommend.

Great Price, and does what I need. Would be a 10 if the battery life was a little better. Overall, it is fast even with the newest Windows 8.1. The keyboard is nice and smooth for fast typing. The graphics are displayed in nice smooth, clear, and crisp fashion. Fast boot up and shut down time as well. I have mine in a nice blue color which is a great design. I do not have problems connecting with the Wifi. The CD/DVD drive is fast in regards to burning DVD's and CD's. Please note it will not play Blu Ray DVD's.

I have had this computer for less then a year and it makes weird noises and sometimes smoke comes out of the left side. It is missing six keys and has been threw a lot with my toddler and dog, I am very surprised it is still working. Battery Life Last a couple hours long enough to watch one movie. Speed/Performance Freezes sometimes and sometimes runs slow but I think it could be rom having so many things on out internet. Freezing might be due to all these reviews and questionnaires that I do online. Durability This computer has been jumped on, thrown across the room, left upside down for hours while on, spilled on, chewed on and it still works .

I just got this computer about 2 weeks ago and have used it almost everyday. It is the perfect size and is not too heavy. Love the set up and the sleek design. Great definition and good battery life. Really helped my recent studying. Feeling a little spoiled. Support & Service Haven't had to call them yet.
