HOUSE M.D. Review Summary

House, M.D. is "one of the most cerebral shows," as well as one of the "funniest and most well-written shows." Hugh Laurie stars in this Fox medical drama as Dr. House, a physician who takes on the most puzzling of cases, while "constantly dealing with his internal demons." Reviewers issue the warning that "you'll be saying 'What a jerk!' over and over, but you'll be back." Others appreciate Dr. House's sense of humor, as "some of the comments he makes have me rolling over in laughter." Even some non-TV watchers admit to an addiction to House, M.D., because it "keeps you wondering." A few longtime fans of House, M.D. would never miss an episode, yet feel it's been slipping recently. The majority of reviewers, though, still feel "House is a clever blend of reality and fiction." Other hospital dramas that share some of those same qualities are Grey's Anatomy and ER.

I have never been into most hospital shows.  I never liked ER, never got into Grey's Anatomy, and completely passed on General Hospital and the like.  The only hospital show I ever watched was Scrubs, and let's face it, that's not about hospitals at all!  House is a show I saw randomly before and...

Let me tell you how I approach TV series. If I love it, it bothers me to miss even a single episode. If I like it, I want to watch but if I have to miss an episode I promise myself I'll catch it in reruns. But there are those shows that are just filler until what I really want to watch comes on. Last...

I am not a big tv watcher, but everytime House is on, I am there!  I have the first three seasons on DVD and can watch them over and over.  I am never bored, even by the shows that I have memorized.  Hugh Laurie is a big part of this.  The man has more talent than one person should be allowed.  Not only is he able to play a very complex character, but he does so with a perfect American accent and makes a character that would be easy to hate very loveable.  What woman wouldn't want to take House home and tear down his barriers?!!  The other actors take Laurie's direction well and play off...

House M.D. is a very entertaining T.V. show.  House's over- the- top theories and methods to save patients on their death beds keeps everyone on their toes.  His bad attitude and jerkiness make it all the more entertaining to watch-  The only thing I would may be a downfall to this type of show is that it is limited somewhat in what you can do because of the setting.  This show mainly takes place in the hospital-  How many times can you make up some crazy rare disease coupled with other symptoms of whatever that makes it almost impossible to figure out or treat.  As far as character developement... review »

This show is great! Outstanding actors, wonderful plots, and some of the most interesting medical ailments that will keep any hypochondriac set for life.  House, M.D has kept me interetaind for a few years now. Gets  better every season. The DVDs offer commentaries, and behind the scenes looks.

House is quite possibly the greatest show ever.  I love the constant plot twists, and the characters make you want to watch.  Dr. Gregory House is a brilliant but troubled diagnostician, basically known as the best in his field.  Dr. House is a sarcastic, manipulative, uncaring, mean genius, and yet he sucks you in and makes you care about him.  T

he writing is great, especially between House and Wilson, his best friend and the "star oncologist" at the hospital.  Some of the one liners between these two are magnificient.

In the first three seasons, House's "ducklings" as fans call them,...

House the character, is complex and constantly dealing with his internal demons. That be said, he is highly intelligent, caring (although he would never admit it) and is a wicked music lover.  He sees the connection between the body-mind experience through his kenetic process using his ball, cane, or by talking to his crew.  He cannot function alone. The sparks between Cuddy, his friend Wilson and himself is enough to keep a watcher intrigued.   He is a loner, that needs people.  The show is funny in that there are inside jokes; he lives at 211 Bakers Street (Sherlock holmes Address). ...

HOUSE will blow you away. The premise has a great diagnostic doctor determing what is wrong with ill patients. The catch is that he is a complete & total jerk. But you will grow to love him, believe me.

The latest season features House's latest device of torture - a game set up where you can't really win, because if you do, you'll be working for House himself. The fellows are medical doctors fighting each other for the right to House's fellowship. It's quite cutthroat, really.

An added  bonus to the show's amazing cast of characters is the cinematography. Sometimes the camera will zoom right inside...

House is one of the best shows on t.v. today!  This show is very well put together.  It's dramatic.  It's suspenseful and intriguing.  I like that House is a realistic character.  I enjoy watching and listening to him break things down through trial and error, and getting to the conclusion that really makes sense.  On the other hand, House can be very irritating and frustrating.  The character being in the grips of drug addiction is portrayed very well, but I would love to see him get sober!  I'm sober and watch others get sober all the time, and when somebody really "gets it" it's awesome...

I limit my television viewing to only a few select programs because most of what is on TV is garbage.  House, M.D. is a bright light in a sea of trash.  The program challenges its viewers with intelligently written scripts and fine actors.  Hugh Laurie is brilliant in his role as Gregory House.  Robert Sean Leonard, Dr. Wilson, plays off Laurie's character with aplomb.  Each of the other regular supporting cast adds his or her own spice to the mix.  Now into its fourth season, House, M.D. continues to be fresh, pointed, exciting and fun.

House M.D. is a very well thought out show that keeps you into it, and keeps your from "touching that dial." The main character, House, is one you'll ove and hate, but he is always right. His colleagues will usually disagree though, which will prompt incorrect diagnoses, and in the end House's assumption is right. Don't miss an episode, it is one of my favorite shows, if not the my favorite, and give it a try, and it may be yours.

If you are looking for something besides ER, then House is the show for you.  It's the show that has different medical problems rather than your average everyday problem and the way that they go about solving them is rather intriguing. However if you find some unappropriate language not to your liking then this show might not be for you, but you should give it a chance, it will grow on you.

I am REALLY REALLY hooked on this T.V. show. The story line is ALWAYS fascinating and engaging!! Not to mention that Dr. House is not to shabby to look at!! WHO AM I KIDDING, he is the main reason I watch this show. He is so handsome, and yet so ugly at times. This character is intriguing. Someone so cute shouldn't be so ugly on the inside, but that is probably what keeps me glued to the set!!!

I just cannot get enough of this show! House's character is beyond hilarious, I love his sense of humor and some of the comments he makes have me rolling over in laughter. I can't wait to see what's in store when the new episodes come back on. Every one has surprises and never lets me down.
