HOLIDAY Chest Freezer LCM070LC Review

In February of this year (2009) we purchased this Holiday Chest Freezer Model Number LCM070LC for $140.00 at Appliance Smart. These usually run about $150-190.00 so when we seen this one for a cheaper price we grabbed it. Its white and tall about 33 inches high not very wide 37 inches and about 22 inches deep. It has a handy basket on the top of the inside for easy access to smaller things, vegetables, small packages of meat..etc. Its deep to me, I have to stand on my tippy toes just to reach the bottom. Every month it defrosts itself but never thaws my food out, Ive noticed a tiny bit of frost on the inside but nothing major. It has never freezerburnt my food, it works properly as it should. I can go to the grocery store and fill up a cart full of frozen stuff and bring it home and put it in the deep freeze and I still have room for all kinds of stuff. It's the perfect size.
Some features about this freezer: Space saving flat back design, Convenient adjustable thermostat, Removable basket, Manual defrost with easy access drain, Extended protection plan. I have a one year warranty with mine and its not energy star rated. I recommend this freezer because It's never given me a problem and I have yet to try to fill it to the top. My mother has a smaller cu.ft. Holiday Chest Freezer and she has never had a problem with hers either. A good brand in my book.
