Being a new resident of Texas I've had to become used to not having the same stores as I used to. All of the area Albertson's are closing so I started shopping at HEB. So far I give it rave reviews.

Always crowded and poor service

I've lived in Texas for about 13 years so I'm used to the local grocery stores such as H-E-B. I've lived in Round Rock for about 7 years, and when the original H-E-B closer to I-35 closed and the new HEB Plus! opened up I was glad, because the old store was always crowded and dirty.

I am also new to Texas. This place does 'seem' to have everything. There are a few things I could find at Albertsons previously that I haven't been able to find here. I have generally been able to find a similar product though.

Their coupon deals are very interesting. They have coupon 'meal deals' where you buy one thing and you get many other things for free. The latest example is I bought bacon and OJ and got free quaker oatmeal, four smoothie drinks, a 24 count box of waffles, a box of frozen breakfast sausages and a bottle of syrup. Not a bad deal!

Don't mind the crowds..but always out of stock

We shop every Sunday afternoon and it's always down to the bottom on the produce and many other items. The last year it seemed the quality of the store went down signinficantly over all.
Don't have to many complaints about the service except for the Cafe/Salad Bar. At lunch time they usally only have one checker and it take too much time to get in and out. Is it just me or whenever you find somethings you really like and buy several or all of them they quit stocking it. I think they restock on Tuesdays but don't see most of us doing our shopping then. Good prices but always crowded

HEB is a great place to shop for groceries.

This HEB is absolutely huge so it's pretty easy to get everything you need, however its ALWAYS crowded.

I have also had service issues here and get abrasive cashiers, but the prices are good and it's convenient, so what the heck.

Great cosmetics dept. great cheese section.
