I have recently become addicted to the Guitar Hero series. I love music, so naturally I would love this game. The thing that I like most about these games is that there are many levels of difficulty, so the games can be played by anyone in the family. Guitar Hero World Tour is by far my favorite out of all of them, and it just came out a few days ago.
Guitar Hero World Tour has over 80 songs to choose from, which is twice as many than any other version. You can also download additional songs with the 360, Wii and PS3 versions, which will give you even more options. Even if you are not a huge rock fan this game is for you because it features music from all genres.
The best place to start this game is in the career mode, because you can unlock all the different songs, as well as play in gigs to earn money to purchase additional guitars and accessories on the game. If you are looking for a quick song or two, you can create your own playlist in the quick game mode.
My two little girls are 18 months and 3 years old and love this game. My three year old wants to learn how to play, and my 18 month old loves to dance around to the music. It's a great addition to family night, because it offers something for everyone. It is expensive, but it is well worth the money.
I highly recommend this game for the family. It is a high demand item, especially for the holiday season, but it is well worth it.
