Guinea Pigs are the precious little fuzzy members of the family that we all know and love.  They are caring and love attention, and most importantly food.  But with owning a Guinea Pig you must know how to properly care for them.

A Spacious Cage- Everyone owning a Guinea Pig should use the C & C Cages (CavyCages.com) One single Guinea Pig needs 7.5 square feet of room, and guinea pigs are herd animals and should have a buddy or two.  So always increase your cage size with each piggie you have :)  Besides your piggie loving you for the new cage, they will be alot healtier.  Store bought cages are expensive and glorified litter boxes.  It's so much cheaper to build your own using the directions provided on the website above.

Fresh Veggies and Timothy Hay- Guinea Pigs need constant hay and daily fresh veggies.  They will wheek for their supper and love you even more for providing them with the food and care they need.

And also.  If you are looking for a Guinea Pig as a pet.  Don't go to a pet store or breeder.  There are so many homeless piggies out there that need your love.  Go to PetFinder.com to find homeless piggies in your area.

Don't Breed or Buy While Homeless Animals Die!  Opt To Adopt!
