I have always loved guinea pigs. They are just so cute and I love there squeeks. I just bought a female, lilac/white, Texel. For those of you who don't know breeds, a Texel has long curly fur. She is so much fun to watch and play with. I love it when she popcorns and chatters while I'm petting her.
I highly recommend you buy one from a breeder or rescue. There are so many horror stories and truely upsetting pictures about petstore suppliers online.
