Laural K Hamilton started out as a great writer this seris was one of the best. I love Anits Blake vampire hunter the way she was in the begining she was a real person that was finding her self as a necromanser she raises the dead for different reasons. I have recently found myself become more and more intrigued by vampires. I have not read the Twilight series but have read all of Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse novels and have just now finished Laurell K. Hamilton's book Guilty Pleasures. The book is based on a time where it is legal to be a Vampire. Anita Baker is a Vampire Slayer and Zombie raiser. The book is very action packed even from the first chapter.
