Guild Wars, in its first Chapter, is a game that seems built to be played slowly, giving you tons of content and things to do for your initial purchase of the game.  There are no subscription fees, it's free to play for as long as you like, and there's no hurry to get through it.

The storyline is well developed and there are many quests to help you develop your character (receiving skills or spells for free as a quest reward) and raise experience.  Your level caps at 20, but you can continue to earn points to use to spend on skills, and gain more skills, past it.  When you finally complete the...

A great game with lots of playtime.  With the ability to buy the add on chapters it allows you to only play the pieces and pay for the pieces that you want.  No monthly subscription fee allows you to play at your leisure without worry of having to "waste" money by not playing and having to cancel your account.  it will be there for you when you are ready to play.  My only complaint would be it is at times very difficult to solo peices of the game due to the difficulty of some of the missions and the ingame NPC team up players at times are not suitable for these missions.

I've been playing Guild Wars for some time now. I'm not really one to enjoy the magical world based games- but Guild Wars manages to still keep that element without making it the stereotypical 'geek' only game. Guild Wars also has a good story line as well as great graphics. That alone, makes it better over any other kind of MMORPG- but wait, that's not what makes it so wonderful- unlike many other games, it's free to play online!

Great game for the price. good for people just learning how to play a MMORPG. it is easy to learn and fun to play. The only problem I had was it only goes up to level 20 and then you have to make a new character. Missions were somewhat easy and could be done with very few people if they had the right jobs. My favorite character was the necromancer.
